When I want something refreshing, I’d go for Chau Express. I order Rickety Rickshaw Bowl with a cup of latte. The bowl is full of textures, love the dry bean curd, and the crispy vegan rolls. I visited today with a friend who frequents the restaurant often. She highly recommended the Golden Temple Soup so we both got that and she ordered the taro chips to share as well. The soup with noodles was so delicious! I added hot sauce to mine as it needed a kick. It was a rich coconut turmeric broth with so many vegetables and felt very filling and warm on a cold day. The inside of the restaurant was fairly modern but a little confusing and that's the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. If it had been more inviting, I would have upped it because the food was that good. I'm a vegetarian and don't often find these gems so I'll definitely be back.

Great spot! Took out a mix of items Tropical Rainstorm Bowl, Rickety Rickshaw Bowl, Golden Temple Soup, Bai Sao Beach Chips, Crispy Rolls. Also ordered a Coconut Shake and their Thai Milk Tea Ice Cream! The taro chips were so addicting, and the paprika garlic dip was very flavorful. Absolutely loved the Golden Temple Soup, which had a nice depth of coconut curry flavor. Getting the rice is a pro tip, as it soaks up the soup better than the noodle options. No complaints about the bowls, although it would have been nice to include some more sauce to soak up the ingredients when mixed together. The crispy rolls were average, and were more on the soggy side after being in-transit. They're probably best ordered during dine-in. The Coconut Shake was a memorable and sweet item! Would order from here again.

Friend brought me here and it was such a good experience ! We both ordered the golden temple soup and when I say it was BEYOND good, I am not exaggerating. Packed with a variety of fresh, crispy veggies and tofu, and the most divine broth & I got rice noodles with mine. We got a coffee and a matcha drink too which were huge! The staff was also super friendly. Will be back for sure

Overall good experience but most dishes taste very similar even with the sauces on the side. Really loved the taro chips!

I love this place and their food, but this time I will have to give them a 3 star. Their take out/delivery dishes quality failed to me this time I order my usual Golden Temple trough Uber eats, and that really wasn't the problem , but the contents in it where pretty disappointing. the noodles where all stuck together in inseparable clump, this ruined the whole experience, they never separated and just became a doughy paste once I added the broth! and the few that separated broke into tiny pieces impossible to grab with my sticks. Moral of the story don't order, go there and enjoy, if you don't have time to go , then save your crave for when you have time to go.

I wasn’t expecting the food to be as healthy as it was! The fat and sugar was minimal. We had the Midnight Swim Bowl and Red Sand Dunes Soup as entrees. The swim bowl had a delcious sauce and more vegetables and was likely more nutritious. I didn’t like the dunes soup; a little bland and not much nutrition in it. The beetroot chips were delicious, and my favorite things were the beetroot latte and red juice blend.

Probably one of my favourite places to eat in Vancouver. Every time I go here I leave feeling so good and full but still healthy and good ya know? I would recommend everything on the menu. I literally have gone here straight from the airport after coming home from a long trip several times because it’s just that good and fresh. Rickity Rickshaw bowl is my go to but i’ve tried a lot of things and everything is 10/10

The staff is friendly and nice. Their food is all vegan and has plenty of beverage and dessert options. Price range from $15 above for a large plate.
