Extremely dissappointed. Have not been to Charlie's in a long time and will not be going back. The expense is fine with me if it is worth it, but this was not. The burgers use to be hand pressed fresh ground beef and these were frozen paper thin burgers with a freezer taste. That is not what Charlie's was known for.
Food was great perfect French fries and onion rings, had the Charlie cheeseburger comes with lettuce tomatoe mayonnaise & provolone cheese was very tasteful & deliciousFood: 5/5
Have gone to this Charlie's for years and it always been amazing.Last year the quality started slipping. Hadn't gone for like a year. We went last weekend and it was not worth it at all. I understand prices have been raised everywhere but to raise the price while decreasing amount and quality is just wrong. My burger looked like it was a kids burger flattened out more. The burger used to hang over the side, nope not any more. My burger was also burnt and cold. I came with a group. I ordered first and got my food last. I asked an employee if this was the adult burger because it was small and burnt and she just kind looked confused and walked away. Save your money and a trip and go to Empire location.
Service was okay. Garbage plate was decent. Never had to ask for meat sauce before, though. Seemed a bit strange. Also seemed like there was tension behind the counter. Doesnt look good for the business if workers cant keep their cool. Worked in customer service for years.....i understand you have your bad nights.
Beat places to get wing dings. Ordered beer battered fish with French fries and Cole slaw. Will order again. Everything was great. Also enjoyed the complementary pickles. Very unique flavor.Food: 4/5
Food appeared to be old and reheated. Asked for fries well-done and they were stale not fresh tasting or cooked earlier and reheated. Burgers were over the char as requested but we're dried out and burnt as if they had been cooked earlier then just tossed over the char! Sometimes the food is great but it is starting to loose appeal once again. Only thing fresh and good was the shakes
Its less than one star. The Turkey dinner was absolutely awful. It tasted like plastic was cold. I spent the whole night and next month sick with an upset stomach and diarrhea months later! JUN'20 STILL HAVING DIGESTIVE ISSUES! Go to the Charlie's on Empire Blvd the food is much better so is the service. Wow, Nov '20 still having issues.
I’ve only had one experience here but it was a good one. Service was very fast and friendly. The garbage plate came with a drink which was nice. It was missing bread which was a big bummer as to me that’s a big part of the experience. Meet was moist and soft. Fries were crispy and crunchy. Mac salad had a great texture. Overall it was a really great experience and I’ll be back for more!
Clean place, lots of space. We went on a day and time we were literally the only people in there. The kids that work there seem to do a good job. Food was what was expected and the prices are pretty much in line.
We had about 15 minutes wait for our food but it was very good and the owners came out when we were getting ready to leave to say sorry for the wait of our food we said we understood because of all the people coming in at the same time for dinner my burger was cooked perfectly and my onion rings took a bit longer too cook and the owners wife brought them right to me perfect place to eat for a burger or chicken sandwich
