Charlie B's Restaurant

Large Cobb Salads, smallish cups of chowder & bisques but flavorful. Menu reads locally sourced and healthily prepared. None of the entrees in our group tasted especially noteworthy. Not awful, but not memorable. Family owned & check out the pictures and ski memorabilia.

My wife and I were a little hesitant about eating here after reading the negative reviews, but we believe in second chances and sometimes even third!!! The food and the prices were ok, but the service definitely needs some attention from the management team.

Service was horrible and had to wait for 30 minutes to get a refill on our drinks. We were also charged more for our for then what was on the menu price. We’ll never go back. Horrible service doesn’t sit well with me when we literally were the only people in the restaurant.

While staying at Stoweflake Spa, I ate breakfast at Charlie B's for three days in a row (hotel restaurant). For the last 2 days, there have been insects present on the tables in the dining area. Yesterday the waiter caught it, and today I did. I thought the waiter would have mentioned it to the management, but apparently he didn't or else this morning's encounter would not have happened. What is more shocking is when I tried quietly to address the issue with the hotel's front desk. The woman there was incredibly rude and loud toward me. Had this been my establishment, I would have been overwhelmingly apologetic, and under no circumstances would I have acted offensively toward a customer bringing the issue to my attention. I cannot recommend this establishment at all due to insect infestation in areas where food it prepared/consumed.

Average food, slow service across the board. Special looked and tasted like something they were looking to unload at a premium price. Couple next to me seemed to really enjoy their meal, though.
