Linda greeter us as we arrived. Very friendly atmosphere. Seated by window with candle lit. Our server was very nice as well and from the area. Had drinks draft beer and a Raspberry Lemon Martini. Yum!!! Their homemade corn and potato soup was delicious along with fresh made warm bread and butter. Bistro Burger was cooked to medium as requested and the cheddar cheese melted to a yummy bite. Homemade chips came with and were very tasty. Definitely on list for return visit. Very casual and quant.

When Linda tells you what the specials are, the way she describes them makes this oyster avoider want to try them and that's saying a lot because I dislike oysters. We had drinks and dinner. The lobster on polenta is excellent and rich. So don't expect to be able to experience dessert! The view is exquisite. If you're lucky with weather there's an outside patio area.

Just left Ten Acres and what a disappointment. Ordered the lobster bisque and got orange water. Then tried the seafood over risotto which was more like jumbalaya with pieces of stale sausage. Gross. I gave dessert a shot but couldn't eat the lime pana cotta that was old and drowning in a pile of mushy rasberries. I ended up giving it back. Waitress was excellent yet the decor was dark and dreadful. Prices were a bit high for what you get. Save your money and spend it at Michael's on the Hill.

I honestly dont know where to start. We waited +25 minutes for the food and had to talk to one of the waitresses then our food started rolling out. Heres the main problem the fettuccini didn't taste nothing like a fettuccini its just fettuccini pasta thrown on spaghetti sauce. The coke was bad and i dont know how could you ruin a soda. Other than that the waitresses were very respectful and friendly. Forgot to mention that that the food was overly priced.

One of my favorite places in Stowe. Quaint atmosphere and delicious dishes. Don't skip the pecan pie.
