Ordered the kalbitang short ribs stew today. Flavours were rich with generous meat portions. Excellent service. Possibly a hidden gem - will come back to try K-BBQ and update review.
One of my favourite Korean restaurants so far in Toronto!! I got the seafood tofu soup and the raw beef bibimbap. Both of them were so so so good! One advice would be if you don’t mind raw beef, wait for a bit before you stir the bibimbap so that the beef doesn’t get cooked by the bowl: their side dishes are also reallllly good! I will def revisit!
Decent Korean food and side dishes, a little pricey. Bibimbap had cold rice and could have used more vegetables/variety like mushrooms but it was just lettuce, carrot, white radish, bean sprouts, cucumber. The yukhoe bibimbap was quite good! Cost per dish around $15-$20. I feel like they are definitely more known for their soups and bbqs, as what I ordered was subpar.
Server was very friendly and the food is OK, nothing too special. Price is above average and portions are decent. Not too many items on the menu.
Check out this huge plastic bag that was boiling in the pork bone soup. Turns out smaller pieces were floating around inside disintegrating the whole time. Not only is this unsanitary this is toxic from melting thin plastics. Please be careful of customers’ health and food safety.
NO WAY I WILL GO BACK. I went cause I see 4.1 from here. What a disappointment, ordered both soups and they appeared very differently than other Korean restaurants. Nothing in soups, very WATERY. Those Tofu and seafood in pic are floating on surface. THATS IT. Fx#@yz.. Won't take another chance to try something else.Food: 1/5
Decent Korean food. There was only one girl working at dinner time when we went, that the service was very slow. I found the food to be just mediocre.
Pretty nice Korean barbecue. They are running out of lettuce when we come. But others are all good. They cooked for us which is nice
Service is lacking. Our waitress was friendly but being the only diners at that time, she must have forgotten we were even there. Food was alright, quite salty. The rice was soggy like it was previously frozen and microwaved.
I am Korean. This restaurant is really Korean. It's a delicious place.Food: 5/5
