Absolutely beautiful on the inside. A little like the old adage... Don't judge a book by its cover. It has an aged quality on the inside that is so beautiful. An entire section of local authors. A large YA section that had a pride books table front and center. If I could have I would have spent all day there.
Love this store. Staff are so helpful and knowledgeable. Have yet to ask a question about book location or availability that they can't answer. In fact, one employee even pointed me to a different shop because they didn't have the game I was looking for in store. So i ordered it online from Chapters. I'm sold!
Very clean and tidy store. It is well laid out with lots of recommendation tables of books from all different genres. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Loved being in a Chapters again! I'm not a fan of the new Indigo set ups; they feel sterile and devoid of the joy and hominess that Chapters has. Grab a coffee, pause some magazines and hunt for that next adventure.
It is a good store for gifts, but it seems to have lost the focus on books. I only come here for books and if I have to order online I will get them from Amazon.
Unfortunately had to downgrade from 4 stars. Starbucks inside the store sorely missed as it added to the cozy browsing experience. Selection in store seems to have dramatically dropped. What they have in stock they have a good quantity of, but there is many many books missing and only available online for what seems to be higher prices than I would expect. Have found amazon easier to find what I'm looking for lately which makes me sad.
The lady who helped me try and find a specific book was nice, they didn't have it in store or online but she did let me know where I could go to get it. I really appreciated that.
Awesome experience at this store today. My 2 year old daughter absolutely loves to read and she was amazed by all the books. The staff member who helped me was amazing,I believe her name was Eileen she helped me locate a book for my daughter and found me the exact thing I was looking for for my neices bday gift, she was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. Im sure Ill be here alot more in the future.
Not a lot of books on cooking. Narrow aisles between book shelves. Not enough room for a walker and another person to pass by even though a couple did try and barged into me with no apologies made
Horrible customer service. No one working was able to help. All I wanted was a book or two written by a local author.
