Changs gave my 7 year old autistic son the opportunity to participate in 2 trial classes. We chose to register and it became quickly evident my son clearly was unable to perform inside the class setting. This business understood his situation and were very honest and straightforward in canceling our registration and fees free of charge. They are a very caring and professional business and we were grateful the opportunity they gave our son. From what we saw there is no better place for kids to learn the practice of Taekwondo. Highly recommend this business.

My kid has been attending camps for a few times. The instructors are young, professional, energetic and friendly. It is a pity that we are only available on the weekends so couldn't attend regular lessons.

My daughter has attended Chang's for almost 5 months now and loves going to class. I like that the instructors are teaching her how to stand up for herself, and that there is a big emphasis on respect and self-discipline. The instructor to student ratio is also great.

I'd like to express my gratitude to my awesome mentors Instructor Yoon, Instructor Andrew, and of course Master Chang at White Rock. I look up to these amazing people and generally admire them for who they are and what they have achieved. They are very nice and friendly people, to say the least. Their patience, experience, wisdom, and generosity has given everyone the opportunity to gain knowledge and develop their skills in order create an individual that is very disciplined and highly confident in one's self. All the young students and kids are happy and enjoy learning here, which shouldn't come as a surprise considering how pleasant the instructors are. I have not yet seen a student that isn't well behaved. They also have plenty of locations from where students can learn Taekwondo as well. The whole school also hosts fun events throughout the year for friends & families to enjoy! The Chang's Demonstration Team shows fun presentations and impressive display of athleticism which can be witnessed during their demonstrations. I should've started years ago!

I cannot recommend this place enough. My daughter goes to the White Rock location and she loves it so much! She has already learnt a lot since going there, she is stronger, faster, and more confident. She has also become much more respectful at home, which was a bit of a struggle before. The instructors are really great at what they do, they are patient, and they are absolutely amazing with kids. As mentioned by a previous reviewer, the instructor to student ratio is also great. Again, I really can't recommend this place enough!

We are more than happy with Changs. The best experience we’ve had with a program for kids. The instructors are friendly and so professional. They know how to relate well to the students. Our son is 5 and has learned so much in the classes. Kids in other belt levels seem kind and respectful and they are often seen helping in the classes as well. Changs was recommended to us in a school newsletter and we are so glad we tried it!

We joined Changs just a couple of months ago with my 5 year old and we just love it. All of the instructors have a way with the younger ones that keep them engaged and focused but also having fun. At 5 years old , discipline and respect are very important and their teachings definitely help the mental and physical development of our little guy and he loves it too. They have fantastic incentives for youth to really want to try their best. The star program and buddy days fantastic. We belonged briefly to another club BUT it wasn't a good fit and the lessons were not as well balanced for the smaller ones and just too structured and strict for keeping up and keeping engaged. In a time where my child can't make a decision on what he likes and he feels overwhelmed at times... Changs has been fantastic. He loves it here, is happy to participate and is improving at home and in school. I would highly recommend Changs!!! Great little Tae Kwon Do place. The instructors are really good with the children especially I take my grandson once a week. Very patient. Very kind. Of course everyone has to wear masks.....pointless of course, because you should only wear a mask if you're ill, and if you are sick enough to require a mask, then you wouldn't go to a class. However it is difficult for anyone to hear the directions clearly, since the masks are really terrific at muffling speech. But that is the only down side and that's not even something they can fix. On the plus side: lots of them. Great place for kids to learn discipline and to listen, and get some exercise. Also learning a second or 3rd or 4th language: how to count in Korean!
