One of best steak we had! We visited from Vancouver so wanted to try Alberta steak and heard great things about Chairman’s steakhouse. It was our anniversary and dessert was on them What we ordered: We ordered cheese toast, 32oz Canada prime bone in smoked ribeye for two with two sides, and Italian red wine. Our server was Jessica, her service was amazing and very attentive. She explained everything detailed and easy to understand. We will definitely come back next time when we are in Calgary.
I've had the best cuts of steak from many different places and cities around the world and this one is absolutely in the top 5, in terms of food quality, atmosphere and service. The same can't be said for many steakhouses in Calgary. From the moment we sat down to sharing our dessert, everything was impeccable. Even their bathrooms are ornately decorated and kept, which says a lot about a restaurant. The rib eye was truly, melt-in-your-mouth sensational, even the Caesar salad was exquisite and the perfect amount without feeling heavy. It's definitely a special occasions restaurant but worth every cent. Would highly recommend!
We are long time patrons of Chairman's. They consistently go above and beyond for service and personal attention. The food is excellent and we love the ambience. Contrary to some negative reviews about the children / dress code policy, we appreciate the atmosphere they are trying to create as an upscale dining establishment. It does clearly state that policy on open table see the screen shot. We have done special events in their private room to celebrating birthdays/anniversaries. Every time, we are impressed with the attention to every little detail. We always enjoy our time here and are so glad there is this option for dining in the SE.
Went here for my birthday dinner tonight. Had a delicious wagyu steak hybrid, incredible cheesecake and bone marrow and cheese toast. The food was some of the best I've had in my entire life. The steak is the best steak I've ever had. The atmosphere was incredible. Our waiter Sam was great helpful and quick. What a wonderful experience. Can't recommend this place enough!!!
Finally got to check out Chairmans, and it did not disappoint! The service was amazing, never have I had such great service in Calgary like this place. The food and drinks were to die for, and the atmosphere is warm, welcoming and romantic.Food: 5/5
I am a frequent customer of Chairmans. I make the drive accross the city and it's my top 3 for steakhouses. Service was okay. Some servers are more attentive than others. The food took about 1 hour to come out for the main.. the gnocchi and dessert- toffee pudding was good.Food: 4/5
Excellent food, Superb service. I went with my wife on a Wednesday night to try their steak special for 2. We ended up upgrading all our sides and spend more than double of the fixed. Highly recommended: Brussel sprouts and the lobster max and cheese!
When we first got here, it was a little loud, but it was also the tale end of dinner service. Everyone who came to the table was extremely nice and helpful. They made a mistake on one of our entrees and the manager was quick to rectify it. The food was some of the best I've ever had, and the desserts didn't disappoint either. The meats were cooked to perfection, not to overcooked , very moist and tender. The desserts are definitely house made and were just as amazing as the food. I will definitely be returning here.
Another amazing meal at Chairman's tonight. We went to celebrate our 11th anniversary and had a wonderful time. Our server Whitney was excellent, very attentive, and never an empty water glass my hubby drinks alot of water Can wait to go back again. Thank you again Whitney Food: 5/5
Very fancy interior. Excellent services. The food serving is taking its time in nice pace. All the food we order are tasty! Good portion for main dish! Their steak is really good, well seasoning, well cook, I don’t like steak normally but this is tasty! Free birthday dessert. Highly recommend for special occasions!!
