Great food for the price, lamb shank stew on Saturdays is to die for. Kebabs are great too. Patio is amazing on summer days.
Iranian/persian cuisine. The food is good. Staff is a little bit slow but they are friendly. And the price is very good.
Came with a couple friends, we were the only customers that evening. The food we wanted was unavailable so we chose another dish. Turns out, none of our plates were seasoned with salt. The flavour was heavily lacking in the entrée soup as well. Apart from the rice which was spilling over the side, my lamb was served cold. My friend's kebabs were pink in the middle. Lastly, the service could have been better. Other customers who arrived later were served steaming hot plates and rice that actually looked like what it was on the menu ours wasn't like that. We understand that we aren't your regulars or acquaintances you already know, but that doesn't mean that the kind of service should change as a result. If you want a better review, please consider the food and customer as top priority. Thanks!
Fantastic Persian food and service at a reasonable price in a great location! I couldn't have asked for more. I really enjoyed their delicious dishes. I would definitely go back. It is a 'must eat place' if you ever go to Montreal.
I've been here a few times and usually the service was good. I brought my friends for norooz so they could experience Persian culture and the woman who served us was extremely blunt and rude why give us a menu if you only offer 3 dishes then?. I was embarrassed and kept apologizing to my friends about the service. Never bringing anyone here again to get a taste of Persian cuisine, that's for sure.
I like this place. Amazing prices for Persian food in the downtown. The food is good. Specials on weekends are really good. The ventilation is not great and if it is a hot day you may ask them to turn the portable fan toward you. They serve yogurt+cucumber on the side of dishes with rice and also pita bread+salted butter. They could serve food in bigger plates so that eating would be easier but the plates are quite small. I'm kind if regular there. You can sit in the terrace in summer time. It is a very cozy restaurant. The service is ok overally. They don't speak English that well.
This place could have been much better than the last visit. Iranian food is delicious but you need other ingredients to succeeded. The place is strategically located but requires more improvement in quality and service.
I feel bad for persian people that they have a restaurant like this representing their food and their culture. owners are rude and impolite. Our kabak was very dry and probably from the day before. my father in law got sick a few hours after eats ng here and i am happy that I did not finish my meal. very dirty forks and knives...... I will never ever go there and I will not even tell my enemies to go there. if you like bad food, bad service and you would like to increase your chances of food poisoning then this place is for you and you can loose weight by beeing sick after your meal. What a shame for Iranians!!!!!!! How come this place is still open??????
Nice place. They serve soup or salad or yogurt before meal and tea after meal for free.
Very delicious. Good kebabs and other Persian food.
