Amazing staff! Dr. Christopher Sims and Lauryn were absolutely wonderful! My son Jameson was born with a lip and tongue tie had so many issues breastfeeding and bottle feeding, my poor little man kept getting gas because his lip tie wouldn’t allow him to make a seal on the bottle or my nipple and his tongue tie wouldn’t allow him to properly pull the milk…My midwives advised me to go to Century Dental to get both of them released. Lauryn was so great, I spoke to her on the phone before going and she was knowledgeable and helped me understand how releasing the lip and tongue tie would benefit my kid. Once I got to the office everyone was so helpful and nice! We met up with Lauryn who explained to us exercises will be doing for the next 6 weeks and the healing process! Dr. Christopher Sims then came in the room to do the surgery, surgery was so quick and done well! Dr. Sims took the time after the surgery to explain everything and show us the exercises! After the surgery they gave us time to feed and cuddle our little man until he felt okay to go home ! After a few days Dr. Sims himself sent me a text personally to check in on Jameson, not just once but a few times!! Amazing that he took the time to check in! Definitely a great experience! Would recommend to get the surgery done here!
I was referred to Century Stone by a pediatrician for my 2 month old son's lip and tongue ties and honestly, all I can say is wow! First, I received a call back from Lauryn who went over the procedure in great detail and answered all of my questions. She provided the same excellent client service in person when we met and made me feel so comfortable with everything. Dr. Sims was kind, professional and welcoming and I knew right away that I had made the right choice by going there. The procedure was quick and went so smoothly. Even the front reception staff went out of their way to provide excellent service. Kudos to the whole team at Century Stone. Highly recommend!
We had an amazing experience at Century Stone Dental. They were thorough, knowledgeable, professional, and personal in the way they took us through the experience of getting my child's tongue tie clipped. Their gentle approach helped to relax our fears and their explanation of the process was comforting. It was quick, and efficient. They took great care to follow up and were available for support at home as well. Positive experience, would absolutely recommend!!
Loved the care I received at Century Stone Dental! My girl unfortunately had a lip and tongue tie that needed to be released. Lauryn is extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions and helped us feel more secure in the procedure. Dr Sims was fast and efficient while still showing great care for our baby. Office was very clean and extremely welcoming. Recovery has gone amazing and I’m super thankful for all the phone check ins.
100% would recommend Dr. Sims and Lauryn to all my friends and family! We brought our one week old daughter to Century Stone Dental for a consultation and lip tie release. From our first phone call, Lauryn made sure we we’re well informed about the consultation and process, answered any question we had, and gave us many resources to prepare ahead of the appointment. By the time we arrived for the appointment, my husband and I both felt so comfortable and at ease. Also should note the facility is stunning- immaculate, trendy and equipped with any thing you could need during your experience there. Upon arrival we were greeted by the most friendly staff and brought to the procedure room. Lauryn continued with her consultation, well prepared with information she had gathered during our phone conversation and reinforced the health teaching with explanations and photos. Dr. Sims arrived and gave us an opportunity to ask any further questions. He assessed our daughter and explained what procedure he would recommend. I was pleasantly surprised when he suggested only performing a lip tie release, and if needed, returning at a later date for a tongue tie release in other words, proved to NOT be a doctor who wanted to add procedures and cost to the patient but wanted the least invasive option for our baby. A few days after our appointment, we received contact through text message from Dr. Sims to “check on” our daughter and make sure we were all doing well. Such a lovely and caring touch to an already incredible experience. My husband and I felt so comfortable throughout this process with the friendly demeanour of the staff and high level of expertise from Lauryn and Dr Sims. Our baby was treated for her lip tie with such a professional and gentle skill. We are so grateful to all at Century Stone Dental for our wonderful experience and helping us on our journey with our newborn.
Dr Sims and the team here have been incredible to be around and the work has been fantastic. I never have any doubts when I go here. Dr. Sims is a very real person who will do whatever is possible to get you the care you need. My partner and I have both had quite a bit of work done here and Century Stone Dental has always been able to help us out when needed. I recommend this place to anyone looking for an easy going/relaxing but also nice and a trusting experience. I feel comfortable and I feel like I'm in more than capable hands.
My lactation consultant suggested Century Stone Dental to us, as my 4 week old son had both a tongue and lip tie. Lauryn was incredible from the first time I called to inquire about the procedure and process. I think our first chat was 20 minutes when I called! She asked me a lot of questions about how my son and his behaviour and made an appointment with me on the spot - no referral needed. It was a multiple week wait at other clinics and truthfully I was frustrated as his feeding had been quite impacted by his tied. Here I was seen within days and my in-person experience was just as positive. The clinic is gorgeous, and they had a private room for me, my son, and my husband, complete with a private bathroom and a nursing pillow so we could comfort him after. The information provided about the procedure was incredible - so thorough and easy to follow. Dr. Sims was equally as great. My son was assessed and we were given the option of reversing the lip and tongue tie same day, without any pressure. We also were given the option of staying in the room during the 10 second procedure, which we did. We were then shown the stretches to do 6x for the next 6 weeks and were able to take a video of it so we could refer back if we needed. The follow-up has been exceptional. I received a check-in call two days later, and a personal text from Dr. Sims himself. I could not recommend this practice more!
We had a fantastic experience at Century Stone Dental! Our baby needed a tongue and lip tie release, and Century came highly recommended. Dr Sims and Lauryn explained the procedure thoroughly, answering our many questions, and provided detailed after care instructions. Dr Sims even followed up over the weekend to check in on how our baby was doing. Every staff member we interacted with was super friendly and, to top it off, the clinic itself is beautiful. A top notch experience overall!
We had such a good experience at Century Stone Dental. Dr. Sims and Lauryn were both fantastic, and they were so helpful when our daughter had a lip and tongue tie. They were very thorough in their assessment of her, and the procedure was very quick and efficient. We were given all of the information we needed to perform the post-procedure lip and tongue exercises, and they even followed up a few days later to check in and see how things were going. We are so glad that they were recommended to us by our lactation consultant, and I would recommend them to anyone who is needing a similar procedure.
So grateful for our referral to Century Stone Dental. Our son had lip and tongue tie and we were referred there from Port Colborne because I was advised that they were the best. And they absolutely were 100%!! All the staff was so helpful and informative. The office was honestly the cleanest most beautiful medical/dental office I have ever seen. The procedure was very quick and we were explained everything in detail about after care. Dr Sims followed up with us a few times the next week which was very helpful.The procedure really helped our son thrive in terms of feeding. He has started to gain weight at a quicker rate since the procedure. So glad we got it done!
