DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY......AWFUL. In January 2018, my friend and I took her mom, who was visiting from Ireland to Niagara Falls. We took a taxi from Niagara Falls Taxi company to the Niagara casino. FANTASTIC company. The driver gave us a business card to call for a ride back to our hotel when we were ready to leave. When I called, the driver advised that due to a city by-law, he wasn't able to come directly to the casino entrance and we would have to take the first one in the taxi line. If we could walk to the sidewalk, he would be able to pick us up. Unfortunately, my friend's mother, a lady in her mid 70's, was unable to walk that far. She is unsteady and requires a cane and holding onto our arm. She also can not walk far due to asthma. We left the casino followed the city by-law and went to the first cab in line. When he found out we weren't going too far, he refused to take us and told us to go to the cab behind him. He could clearly see that my friend's mother was having difficulty walking and breathing. We walked to the next cab and he didn't want to take us either. Both cabs were from CENTRAL TAXI. I admit, I did call him an ignorant B*!@*rd and he finally relented and said he would take us. The ride back to the casino was a lot more expensive then our ride there. I called the company a couple of days later and made a complaint. I continued to call 4 more times throughout the month of January to get an update of my complaint. Near the end of January, I received a voice mail from the office in Ottawa, advising that I would be receiving a call from the Niagara Falls office within a week. Two weeks later, after not receiving a call, I contacted the company again and the man I spoke with stated that it was obviously a serious complaint if I received a call from the Ottawa office and they were probably dealing with the union. I understand if there is a process, however, as I explained to the last male, a follow up call or contact from someone providing me an update would be appreciated. He advised that he would forward my message and I should receive a call back. Over a month later, and I have heard nothing from the company and have left 2 more messages. Please do not give any business to this company, but use Niagara Falls Taxi for all your transportation needs. *****YOUR NAME WILL CARRY YOU FURTHER THAN YOUR FEET!!!! **** My friends and I will be sharing this throughout all of our social media....Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to let all of our family, friends and Facebook groups know about this company. USE NIAGARA TAXI.....NOT CENTRAL TAXI PLEASE The only reason I gave this company one star is because it wouldn't let me post it with adding one star. It doesn't even deserve that, but I had to give it one to be able to post.

10 minute drive and couldnt get their price straight. was told 25 flat rate then 36 then 40... this was right from the supervisor.... dumb, save yourself the hastle dont call.

I am not giving any stars to this company. The way they do business is disgusting. I call five days in advance to book a cab for my 97 year old wheel chair bound mother to come to Christmas dinner with us. I got a confirmations # for both the pick up and return trip. On Christmas Day we dressed my mother and had her waiting at the door for the cab that was to pick her up at 3. We waited and waited. I called and was told that I had to be patient as they only had so many wheel chair accessible cabs available. Why did I get a confirmation if they were going to take people ahead of us, doesn't a confirmation confirm that they will come at the booked time? So we waited some more but after an hour and a half my mother could not wait any longer. I was also getting text messages every 15 minutes saying they were coming at 15:00 hours and to be ready, that is 3 o'clock and it was past 4:30. These messages continued until I blocked the number even after I called and told them to stop. Finally a driver called at 6:45 to ask if we were still waiting for them to pick her up, this was 45 minutes AFTER she was to be returned! So my 97 year old mother had to have Christmas dinner alone!! If they had told me that they could not fulfill this request, I could have made other arrangements but no they lead me to believe they would be there for her. I would not recommend them at all.

tried to ensure arrival at work on time so I ordered a taxi to arrive half an hour in advance through the online portal. they match me with a driver 22 minutes out so I cancel and hope for a driver closer. instead dispatch cancels 2 straight orders and makes me late for work. real good service there guys. pathetic

I got picked up at the bus terminal in Niagara falls by an Indian/ Pakistani central taxi driver (black car) and should have known something was up when he didn't put the meter on. When I got to my hotel that's a 2 minute ride away he said $15!!! I was very upset because I knew it was ridiculous but didn't dispute the fair with him because I was just beginning my 2 day vacation with my kids and didn't want to have a bad start. Plus I wasn't sure how much the fare would have been had the meter been on. But now I know. I just took another cab, from Niagara Falls taxi (yellow car) from a distance much further than my hotel back to the bus terminal and the driver (who is Caucasian) put the meter on and the fare was $8!!! I was puzzled at first but it only confirmed the dishonesty of the first driver. I knew such a short distance couldn't have been $10 much less $15. He knew it too. That's why he didn't put on the meter. It wasn't even only about the money lost; it's just the principle. Don't try to get ahead by cheating people and being dishonest. I'm incredibly disappointed by this company and the driver. I wish I was able to identify him and warn others to be aware of him but at least I can say be aware of the company.
