Dr Hutchens was very patient with us when our cat became diabetic, we had tons of questions and he answered them all wonderfully.

I began bringing my senior citizen cat to Central Animal Hospital when I moved to a neighboring town and a lifelong friend recommended them to me as she had been bringing her dog(s) and cats over the years to them. We were seen by Dr. Marks for the first few visits and she was attentive, listened to my concerns, gave my cat a complete examination and took into consideration my financial constrains. I brought him there over the last 3 years. The front desk staff and the veterinary technicians are top notch. Sadly, my boy became ill suddenly in early August of 2017 and I thought he was avoiding his food because of the heat and humidity in our new apartment (we had always had A/C). He began to have difficulty walking and I called them and they got me in the next day ASAP (I don't drive and thus have to recruit someone to bring me) and I already knew that it was the end of the road for my Onslow and I. He was 10 days shy of turning 17. Dr. Hutchins was on duty that day and he kept reassuring me that I was making the right decision to euthanize Onslow and I told him that Onslow and I had a conversation the night before and had mutually agreed and knew this was our farewell. Dr. Hutchins was so sympathetic and compassionate and let me have all the time I needed to sit with Onslow. Of course, I stayed with him stroking him and holding his paw until he had passed on. I chose to have him individually cremated and got a certificate that he was, along with his paw print in plaster and one of the nicest sympathy letters I have ever received from any other veterinary practice when my other 3 cats passed over the years. I highly recommend this practice.
