I had trouble with my problem for 14 years and saw several doctors at tufts, mass general and three other hospital and I was in the Lawrence memorial hospital and read about Dr kakar. She discovered that I had cancer in the liner. She is always a professional and has a wonderful bedside manner. I am in remission and would highly recommend Dr kakar.
I had high hopes for this doctor based partially on the positive reviews, but my experience was a huge let down. She didn't show any interest in listening to my concerns or medical history. She ordered multiple expensive tests, that didn't get us any closer to a treatment or relief from my symptoms. Additionally, she suggested I take a risky medication that would counteract to intended effect of another medication I am on. There just isn't any logic in that. I get the sense that she is more interested in billables than actually treating patients and resolving their issues. Lastly, the billing department is a disaster. They submit claims incorrectly, lost payments and you can't actually get a person on the phone. This practice is such a headache to deal with.
I have had a lot of bad luck with other Gastro's, so much so I wanted to give up. But I decided to give it another shot and see if the next gastro, would be one that actually listened to their patients and didn't just put me in the same filing cabinet so to speak as the others. Well Dr. Kakkar is amazing, she definitely cares and listens and does all she can for you. She is on point of everything and is easy to talk to. She made me feel like I have a chance at a good quality of life now and has restored me sense that there are still good and caring doctors out there.
My experience at Dr. Kakkar is always wonderful. I feel like she really knows how you feel and makes sure she looks into everything for you. She is one of the Best doctors in Massachusetts. Thank You Judy Newell
I had my yearly appointment with Dr. Aarti Kakkar this week. As always it was a pleasant experience. The receptionist at the front desk was very helpful. There was no wait. The medical assistant was very pleasant, helpful, and professional. Dr. Kakkars very pleasant, professional manner combined with her expertise makes it a great experience.
Dr. Kakkar was a delight to meet. She showed interest in my answers to her questions and responded patiently to my questions. She suggested a couple of tests which I'm now scheduled for. I am happy I now have Dr. Kakkar for my G.I.doctor. I believe she is a good doctor that can help me with my on-going digestive issues. Dr. Kakkar is a
