We went after dinner one night when my friend was visiting to watch Fiddle Rock play and it was the perfect venue! Quaint atmosphere and the drinks were amazing. When we went, we were also allowed to also sit outside and enjoy our drinks as well without missing any of the music. This was a great alternative to the regular bar scene! Great owners, knowledgeable bartenders and an excellent environment

Highly recommend Cats Eye! Love this place . Good music, fantastic wine and beer and great people running it. Welcoming, eclectic bar with unique art that is always changing. The wine !!!

What a find! Well crafted cocktails, extensive wine list and a wonderful vibe. The bartender is very knowledgeable and makes great drinks that are off menu.

I love this place! Very quaint cute and cozy !!! And not to mention some of the areas BEST entertainment! CatsEye definitely keeps it fresh ! From live musicians to some REALLY FABULOUS drag shows! Drag bingo being MY absolute favorite! And to top it all off staff and owners are some of the most welcoming folks in town! A great wine list and if you’re driving … try the cbd seltzers! When your finished take a walk through the shop next door! There are some great treasures to be found in there !

This Wine Bar is a GEM! I took a trip to to Starved Rock State Park with a group of friends, and on our way back we decided to stop in Ottawa. Great decision! We went to CatsEye and ended up having one of the best times! Bartender Nate was super friendly and a solid knowledgeable bartender. He made us the best cocktails to start us off, and turned us on to some delicious beers. So, of course if you are into craft beer, they have a solid selection! The ambience was super COOL and COZY. Everyone there was really nice. Let’s not forget about their wine selection. Top notch is where it’s at. WE CAN’T WAIT TO GO BACK!

This place is amazing!! The feel and atmosphere of this bar isn’t like any other in Ottawa! Having a variety of different drinks, craft beer and wines makes you feel like you’re up in the city. The live music and events they have are so much fun and open to everyone and anyone! If your looking for a fun time or a good place for a bachelorette/and or any type of shower or party this is the place to have it!!

My husband and I love this place! I rarely write reviews but I just had to share about this gem in Ottawa. It's so cool and hip. My husband is a beer drinker and I'm a wine drinker and there is always plenty for us to choose from and do out favorite thing, which is to try NEW beers and wines. We always feel so at-home and welcomed there by the owners and staff. It just feels comfy and cozy. Last time I was in the mood for something different, so I tried the Campfire Cocktail. It's like a grown-up S'more with booze!! SO delicious. We can't wait to bring our friends here when they're home for the holidays.

Just an adorable, quaint, welcoming little bar with eclectic, thoughtful decor and a cozy atmosphere. Mike and Francie are passionate and personable bar owners and they always have such a diverse, well-rounded and interesting menu of craft cocktails and wines. They host events at CatsEye, too! The weddings and showers there are so intimate and unique. I can't say enough good things about one of my favorite Ottawa spots! My sister works in the wine business in California and I can't WAIT to take her to CatsEye when she visits for the holidays!

The atmosphere, the drinks, the staff and their drink knowledge, the entertainment...all top notch! Nate is an absolute cocktail wizard - it doesn't get any better than his take on an Old Fashioned...plus their wine and craft beer selections are phenomenal! Every time I've been there which is dozens and dozens of times I've always experienced and enjoyed something new - Do NOT miss this gem! :
