We took a 230+ mile bike trip over Labor Day Weekend 2017, and came through Metaline Falls on our way to Sandpoint, ID. As it was breakfast time, and we'd scouted restaurants in this area prior to leaving home, we thought this looked like a possibly good place to stop. And we were NOT disappointed. Everything is made from scratch, and the omelet and pancakes were awesome! Was super busy though, as it was Sunday morning, but once the food came out, the wait was worth it.  Highly recommend!

Ordered a bowl of brown gravy, I have to say, they delivered. Not only did the waitress bring me a bowl of brown gravy, she even ladled it into my mouth. Best brown gravy I've ever had. As far as a drink, I would definitely recommend the strained sauerkraut juice.

This place as great surprise.   The folks working (family?)  were friendly and quick despite the amount of firefighters that we're unexpectedly eating there.    The food was also great.    One of the best corned beef hashes I have had.   The pies and cookies were also made in house and delicious!   I'll seek this place out again.

Hello from Crescent City Ca.! (remember Pine Grove School?)..lol. Had lunch here in 2012 with my buddy George and loved the place! Just thought about you today 9/15/17. We want to take another road trip up there someday.
