Cataldi Fresh Market

A very clean and organized store and the staff are super friendly and helpful to assist you finding the things you would like to purchase. A huge selection of meats, cheeses and produce...so many homemade products and it reminded me of Casa Nonna, a wonderful shopping experience and found everything we were looking for, if you’re looking for a real Italian market this is a must try.

Worth the drive to Cataldi. An absolute gem of a grocery store. Only the best here. No other grocery store I know of where you might find people dancing, singing and playing the accordion.

They like to place wrong price signs on product so you will pick it up and hopefully not notice. I noticed. A product posted on sale for $4 was scanning on sale at 4.99. They kept paging people for this ridiculousness. Finally after making me wait 10 min, they got a manager to tell me they aren't going to honor their price and that I should basically be grateful I am paying only 4.99 for this product because they normally charge 7.99 or 8.99 for it and walked away. This guy has a god complex. Yes, sir, I forget how you like to exaggerate your prices here, especially now that you have covid as an excuse to gouge people. That product used to be 4.99 regular price. Really kind of you to charge 7.99 or 8.99 depending on what strikes your fancy. Also, they have a tendency to charge you for double the amount of plastic bags they give you. You are using 2? Ok, let's make it an even 4. Ridiculous.

Their hot food in my opinion is one of the best around. Well prepared and tasty. Great selection of all things Italian; meat is nice also.

I ordered 2 chicken breast cutlets and mashed potato for 27$. These prices sorry are insulting. The most I should pay is 15/16$ the grocery store part is nice, but hot table food is way way overpriced. Go to an actual restaurant to pay these prices. Not impressed

Terrible customer service. They advertise pasta on sale but when you go in, everything is on a skid in closed boxes. This elderly lady was trying to get some pasta by opening some of the boxes and the grocery clerk came and snapped at her that she needs to wait until he is ready to unpack the boxes and display the items. First day of the sale and the store has been open almost 2 hours at this point, but yes, let people wait until the grocery clerk is good and ready to start unpacking and displaying the groceries. This grocery store is pure misery.

We used Cataldi to cater our Christmas and New Year’s Eve parties this year 2022. We usually cater with one of the large event halls in Vaughan, but thought we’d try something new this year. Cataldi did not disappoint. From the zuppa di pesce and frittura di pesce to the brisket sliders it was all prepared well and absolutely delicious. We received compliments from our guests on both occasions and most likely sent some business their way. We’ll be using Cataldi from now on!

Great Italian grocery store! Friendly staff, unique products, fantastic hot table and catering options

Love this grocery store. They carry italian products that are hard to find at other grocery stores. Their in house pastry section is to die for. The pastries are so fresh not to mention delicious. Staff are professional and caring as it shows in the way the store is being taken care of

I recently moved to Woodbridge and absolutely love Cataldi Fresh Market. Fantastic customer service and the prepared meals are delicious! The vegetable lasagna is a fan favorite at my dinner table.
