Castella Cheesecake

Probably my favorite Japanese cheesecake brand in Vancouver. Love the buttermilk soft serve ice cream with honeycomb. Yummy cheese tarts for smaller portions!

Castella cheesecake is a great local gem. I love their cheese tarts! They are my favourite. The cheesecake is very fluffy, light, not too sweet and a very reasonable price.

I always get 6 cheese tarts here, they are amazing. The buttermilk ice cream is scrumptious as well, I like it because it isn’t as sweet as other soft serve but the buttermilk flavour is perfect.

This was my second visit to Castella Cheesecake. It's a small store with usually no queues. I got the Japanese Cheesecake and Cheese Tart, both delicious. The cake was soft and had a light cheesey taste. The price was fair. The tart was richer in flavour and the crust melted in my mouth. I'll be back for sure.

We bought 6 cheese tarts. The girl put 6 cheese tarts in a small box. The tarts tasted good but because the girl stacked them on top of each other, the bottom 3 cheese tarts were mushed and pretty destroyed.

The cheese tarts are delicious. Very nice dessert! Perfect flavor and sweetness!

Came here before closing and it was closed. I was disappointed but Castella made up for it and i'm very pleased with the customer service and love the cheese tarts. Can't wait for the Metrotown location to open soon!

Passed this place twice finally found the entrance lol. Japanese cheese cake is really good. Not too sweet since I found most desserts in Canada are too sweet for me. Cheese tart is not like the traditional egg tart. It’s whole new taste. My mom likes it.

Omg. The best soft serve I've ever had. It's not too sweet. Its Japanese buttermilk flavor. Also best cheese tarts ever. It's like hot and gooey cheesecake but not heavy and dense. I cant wait to go back.

Their tiramisu used to come in a square box but now is round.. so same price but less cake... Also the staff is perpetually cold and silent lol
