The meal was amazing and the cocktails were unreal. The duck was perfectly cooked with perfect texture on the potatoes. My favorite cocktail was the Saint Germain. It had a beautiful color and it tasted amazing. I also loved how our server presented and explained every dish that was brought to our table. Thanks to the staff at archer for the great experience! The food was presented so beautifully and I can’t wait to be back.

The food here is amazing. I brought some of my friends here and we all loved it. We ordered around 2 dishes per person and shared between us. The scallops were fresh and savoury and the duck was sooo tender. It’s definitely worth the price because I don’t think I could taste dishes like this anywhere else The cocktails are beautifully crafted and delicious. I really sweet cocktails and the Saint Germain is one of the best cocktails I have ever had !! I don’t normally drink but I would definitely come back just for those

Tried this new restaurant on Alberni, really love the ambience and vibe of the restaurant, however the services need improvement. The dishes either coming too quick or too slow. Someone who seemed like a manager poured all the second half of our white wine unevenly among four. We would love to enjoy our white wine chill, rather than room temperature. Their food tasted good, the most fascinating dish was the Chicken Pate, other dishes were okay. Overall, the portion of the dishes were very small. We probably will not go back unless they change menu, as we tried most dishes that interested us.

Archer is such a treat for Vancouver! It's a beautiful space that embodies a welcoming, intimate dining experience. The presentation of the food is just spectacular. I came with two other girls, and we ordered the gnocchi, octopus, duck and scallops + dessert we were stuffed. Every dish was amazing, but I loved the duck tender, lots of sensory contrast with the colours and the sweet/tart + savoury and the scallops were perfect. You will feel so well taken care of coming to Archer – the team behind Archer is just incredible. Would highly recommend!

First of all the service was very nice and accommodating despite all the mistakes that happened for the night. The appetizers were quite unique in taste and plating. My favourite of the night were the chicken pate and sable fish! The main dishes pork cheek and steak however were mediocre, especially for the price tag. Too many different sauces and taste was quite overwhelming. Now on to the mistakes that happened. First of all our reserved table wasn’t ready at our time and we had to sit on the side for half an hour. Then waiter brought us a can of beer when we ordered on tap, which we immediately pointed out before he opens the can and and let him go switch to beer on tap. They did gave us our dessert for free to accommodate the delay we had for our table and our drinks. However, we only found out later on the receipt that we also got charged the can of beer that we never had on top of the beer on tap. Overall the restaurant ambient was great, food was decent not amazing, and too many mistakes were made though out the night.

Had a wonderful food experience at Archer Dining. Highlights were the smoke oysters, scallop risotto and dill chicken wings! Oysters were so well balanced in terms of acidity, umami and savory combined with the different textures makes this dish a must try at Archer. Cocktails were on point, suggestion to add gin to the Lavender Sour usually served without alcohol. Overall, a lovely dining experience - would highly recommend!

Just wow! The presentation for all the dishes was spectacular. There wasn’t a dish that I didn’t like. My personal favourites were the oysters and pork cheeks which were very flavourful. Would highly recommend archer dining and will be back soon!

The restaurant has nice decor and great vibes for a date or celebrating a special occasion. Our server was very nice and the food was amazing. My favourite dishes were the pork cheek and Hokkaido scallops. Thank you Archer for a nice experience, will come back again!

The food is fresh, and it is a modern Canadian restaurant. The service is good but I will minus 1 star, because the waitress doesn’t wear a mask on when they tried to describe the food for a customer. I love the food there, I need to order 5-6 dishes for 2 person, because it is a small portion. The cocktail that I order is taste sweet.

Wow! I was looking forward to this opening and I was not disappointed. This place was incredible from beginning to end. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The cocktails were excellent. But the food was the best part. The mushrooms were so unique and delicious. The chicken wings with the housemade ranch were on point. The chicken pate was beautiful with the right balance of flavours. The pork cheeks - yum! We also had the salmon crudo - it was good and honestly, had I not been blown away with the other dishes, I would’ve thought it was great but the other dishes were just so much more interesting. Lastly, we had the sable fish - that herb spatzle was the most amazing thing ever. I will definitely be back over and over again. I want to try the oysters next time - they looked so pretty!
