Casta Fjord

We chanced upon this lovely place while staying in the Saguenay. This truly is one of the sweetest and most welcoming restaurants we have ever been to in all of our travels - both domestically and abroad. Everything was terrific: the food, wine, views of the fjords, and ambiance, not to mention the very kind and gracious chef and hostess that took excellent care of us during our several visits back. This definitely is at the top of our "top 10" lists of restaurant experiences, and we are happy to give highest recommendations!

Really nice until you ask for soy milk for your coffee and receive a lecture about how the people here are "not vegetarian" and they "love to eat meat and fat." I don't really care what they eat, I just want soy milk for my coffee. Anyway, the view is phenomenal.

Un moment hors du temps. Nous n'avons pu que boire un petit vin blanc romantique en amoureux car nous n'avions pas réservé...ce petit lieux est un havre de paix et un endroit "secret" et romantique à souhait...
