Casetta Kitchen and Counter serves really good sandwiches made with high quality ingredients and they are packed with flavor. We wish that they were open for more than just lunches on week days, making them hard to fit into a full time work schedule but they are worth going on days off. One gripe is that they run out of ingredients so if you go later in the day they may be out of their daily specials.

Great spot for a quick lunch! The foccacia was particularly delicious Paul Hollywood would be impressed! and the flavors of the different sandwich options were interesting, flavorful, and just plain tasty. The roast beef was shaved really thinly with great color and texture. Didn't get to try the cookies because they ran out on an especially busy day, but they looked amazing and I'd love to go back someday!

Go for the creative and delicious sandwiches, keep going back for the specials and never forget to grab a cookie…if they still have them. There’s a lot of love and care that goes into everything they make. They use top quality meat that is sliced fresh before it is placed between their outstanding bread. With most sandwiches you can choose between hero and focaccia. They’re both phenomenal, but my preference is the focaccia. Make sure to follow them on Instagram, so you know what specials are coming up. Be sure to give the spicy chickpeas a try and their soups look delicious. They also offer take home dinners that I haven’t tried, but I can guarantee are amazing. And the cookies, oh the cookies. If you get there past noon, they are probably sold out. There’s only one kind, chocolate chip, but it will change your life. They are soft with ribbons of chocolate and big flaky salt on top for a sweet and salty combination that will make your mouth water.

Seriously one of the best sandwiches I have had in a LONG time! Had the Italian and added some fresh mozzarella. It was perfection! The hot peppers had just the right kick. Ordering and pick up was a breeze. They had a few tables outside for seating otherwise it’s carry out only right now. 5 stars! 10/10!

Best weekday lunch spot in Madison, hands down. Also best chocolate chip cookies in the WORLD :- I love their daily sandwich specials. Be sure to follow them on Instagram to find out what they are at the beginning of each week. They have a great online ordering system that makes takeout super easy and convenient. Some things sell out so be sure to order early if there's something you really want!

Absolutely amazing! My favorite sandwich is the Paradigm on focaccia bread. Also love the Sullivan, the Italian, and the chocolate chip cookies. It's my dream to figure out how they swirl in the chocolate like that.

We don't live super close to here, and the hours make it a rare treat when we do get a chance to come here. But everything I have had was so yummy. The spicy chickpeas! Every sandwich. The bread is delish. It's got the downtown vibes and a good stop for a satisfying lunch!Food: 5/5

Fantastic food here! Our only complaint is the online ordering . . . it'd be nice if there was an "Order Submitted" screen once you've put in all your info. More than once it didn't go through because you just can't tell if it did or not.

Casetta is fantastic. Their lunch sandwiches are spot on and the deli sides are great - definitely a fan of the broccoli deli side. Their Friday dinners have become a weekly standard for my wife and I. We have enjoyed the food and wine pairing thoroughly every time and the staff really make each meal special. I can't wait to go back this Friday.

Best sandwich in Madison? Definitely. Wisconsin? Absolutely. The world!? Perhaps! I recommend the Italian but all their food is great. My fiancée was excited that they offer great gluten free bread as well! Go check them out immediately if you haven’t already.
