Carson Park

Outstanding historic baseball stadium. Nice museum. Great playground and picnic facilities. Logging village is definitely worth a visit. Also has great fishing spots. Surrounded by a lake that is great for canoeing or kayaking - no power boats.

Beautiful setting within the arc of Half Moon Lake. Stadium and athletic fields supporting the UW, semi-pro baseball and local school events offer plenty of spectator sport opportunities. All of that is surrounded by natural forest and the adjacent waters of Half Moon Lake and Braun's Bay. Off road trail and paths for hiking, running and bicycling are great for fitness and recreation while communing with the beauty of nature. Areas for picnicking, fishing and simply observing nature are plentiful as well. The Chippewa Valley Museum, historical Paul Bunyan Logging Camp and the Chippewa Valley Miniature Railroad and a playground provide fun-filled learning opportunities for adults and children.

There are a host of things to enjoy at Carson Park. Express games during the summer. Football games in the fall. Even the museums can be visited during the winter months! Highly recommend the fireworks display on the 4th!

Nice place the Paul bunyun museum here was cool...minus someone called the cops on me for playing Pokemon....I wasn't even in the road or bothering anyone so 4 stars cause u might have to deal with the Richie's

Great park. Lots of smaller, diverse areas to visit or rent including a museum and baseball stadium.
