Carmelina

Carmelina is a first class restaurant. The service is second to none. The quality of food is impeccable, with huge portion sizes. They take their customer service very seriously and are very personable. They even have a live musician who plays the guitar and piano, all night long, along with signing Italian love songs. Ask for Louis, and you'll have a great night of good service and food!

Visited the restaurant on Saturday night Mar 24 2018, Very busy place at 7 pm on a Saturday, many large parties and family gatherings. Place is a little small for such gatherings, however the food was delicious and arrived within 20 minutes of us ordering, the menu did not have many items and most were identified with Italian names, therefore I do not believe they had any other Exotic dishes as noted on their Web site. We ordered Seafood pasta, well cooked , delicious sauce and a good variety of seafood 5 rating, Seafood risotto, fresh the sauce was delicious the calamari was cooked to perfection also a good portion and lots of seafood, 5 star. Atmosphere was a little noisy due to the large gatherings as mentioned, the piano was a good background sound, the pianist is very good, ( his singing is somewhat up for debate) :). Service was very good, team work seems to be the motto at this place, several waitresses that passed by our table, all refilled our empty wine glasses even though the wine was already on the table. (detailed oriented team work) everyone seemed to work really well together, GREAT service, GREAT food, reasonably priced for GOOD quality food. OH... must mention my dinning companion had a birthday they brought in delicious Tiramisu with a candle the Piano man sang Happy birthday, not requested and also complimentary, very nice touch. Recommend this Carmela for a date night, don't try to have your whole family there ( too much for the space)

Had a lovely experience here when I came with my fiancé on a Friday night. The decor is very Roman inspired and the vibe is very old school Italian. More importantly the food was delicious and very authentic. The seafood risotto had a perfect flavour with a generous amount of seafood. The highlight of the night was the musician who played wonderfully on the piano and also came around and sang songs with the guitar, and graced me and my partner with a song for the two of us! It made for a very romantic and special evening!

Good food, good service, good live piano. Dinner for 2 at Carmelina, we ordered Salmon and Seafood pasta, both were perfectly done. We had a memorable evening.

Lovely, elegant and romantic spot for dinner or a celebration. The Staff is so attentive to your needs and details of your event or occasion. Food is always impeccable and the taste of each dish is always savoury. Prefect spot for a date and the price vs. portion size is very reasonable.
