Açaí Bowls for the Soul

Story

Carioca (Car-ee-o-kah) Bowls is Portland’s first authentic açaí (ah-sigh-ee) café. Cariocas are the natives to Rio de Janeiro and embody health, wellness, and vitality. The Cariocas were some of the first to embrace the açaí bowl as a staple in the 80s.
We strive to provide the healthiest organic foods and beverages using lots of raw ingredients and sourcing locally as much as possible. Our specialty is to provide the most delicious and nutritious organic açaí bowls topped with local, organic fruits and superfoods.
We also offer organic cold pressed juice and a wide variety of other non-alcoholic beverages on tap or in bulk to fill mason jars / growlers.
Attached to Full Lotus PDX offering classical Yoga by donation and inside Good Life Medicine Center, Carioca truly offers a one stop shop for health, wellness and vitality.

Great stop for breakfast, I’d recommend getting their specialty bowls since the original is very basic and leaves u wanting something more. Strange that forks are all in the same basket for everyone to reach and touch and not provided individually with takeout.
Great bowls, I reccomend adding the jackfruit, its a great addition. The vegan cheesy bread is also great!

This place has by far theeee best Acai breakfast bowls eveeerrr!!! Been coming here for years! Always playing awesome Brazilian music to set the ambiance, theres a yoga studio, the outside decks are so chill and awesome, and i loooove the cheesy bread!!!! Def come try this place out asap!!!
I walked in when they were about to close and she went out of her way to make me a bowl. Love it. Great service and great carioca bowl.
The acai bowls were incredible. The size was great and the base with coconut cream is my favorite. I'd recommend adding cinnamon maca nut butter and honey mamas pieces to your bowl.
Great food! Exactly what we were looking for Nice ambiance and fairly quick service. You order at the counter.
The best tasting acai smoothies I've come across
DELICIOUS. The “half” size bowl is super filling, especially with the 2 free add on’s which is a plus. Relaxing seating area outside for warm days and cozy seating inside as well. Such a pleasant, chill atmosphere.
