Cardinal Farm Park

Absolutely love that there is an enclosed section in this park. It is so hard to find an enclosed park in Ottawa. The small enclosed part is great for younger kids or those who need the enclosure and there is also a larger open park and large field and walking path. A nice family park!

Nice clean park..but the toddlers section has a dangerous flaw... On the top of the slide, two sides are open by design. Toddlers can fall easily or worst hit the climbing bar while they're falling. DON'T let your toddlers playing on the slide if your not with them. See pictures. The city of Ottawa can prevent toddlers injuries by simply taking measures fast and adding some security bars to the slide or completely redesign it.

Good soccer field used by organized groups at times, most times people are just practising skills. There is a track around the field for laps walking/running. Off leash path ways in forest above creek beside soccer fields & down by creek. Difficult to walk those this time of year 2021, as leaves & mud make it slippery, no grit has been laid on paths this year.

Great trails right in Orleans for off-leash dog walking. Lots of variety in the terrain, and the grass is very over grown this time of year so it’s pretty aggressive off-roading. Don’t go after it rains

Good for playing soccer, running around, or having a walk in the ravine beside it, and there is a decently sized play structure. Though it isn't my favourite park, I still enjoy going there every so often.

The playground is underwhelming. There is such a large space around it there could be much nicer structure up. They have a dedicated 1.5-5 year old structure which is a plus.

Grass is green, park is busy and full of children, and there is no infrastructure ie water fountains so bring a bottle. If they would only introduce a weather control machine so I can ensure clear sky's and warm temperatures, it would be perfect.

Cool park with forest right there

There is a wonderful walking trail thought the woods at this park.

Beautiful clean park. The park is separated for toddlers and older kids. There's also an accessible swing.
