Car Wash At Douglasdale The

As noted previously, this car wash is awesome. Very clean and usually top notch service. Unfortunately, tonight I had learnt a lesson. Don’t show up 5 min before closing, drive into the bay and park. The attendant told me I only had time for a quick rinse - and graciously told me he didn’t want me get locked in. Suggestion: perhaps close the garage doors 10 or 15 minutes before 9pm. BTW - I had no idea it was almost 9pm. And I get it, long shift - just want to go home. Otherwise - an awesome place to have your car wash. Just don’t go anywhere close to closing time :.

This is one of the best car washes in the area hands down. The quality of products used, water pressure, etc is top notch. My only issue is that a $5 prepaid car wash is not actually 5 minutes but rather 4 min 30 sec. same goes when you swipe your credit card, it will always charge you more for the time you are actually using. This has not always been the case which is dissapointing.

I love this car wash. Very clean & staff are great. I have been going there for years. My only problem is that people can wash their car or truck then spend all the time they want doing interior windows, cleaning seats almost a full detail job at owners expense while cars are lined up outside to get in. I can understand if bays are empty & not busy a person can wipe car down if cold out but not when you have a line outside. Im sure some people spend $4.00 and take the bay up for 1/2 hour. Not fair to customers or owner. Put some sign up and enforce. Nice car was tho

It was great and the line went by fast. Just wish they would let us know that they charge extra if you're using your credit card. We didn't have change with us so we used our card. Thought it was only $2, but after using it and realizing it didn't automatically stop we realized we were getting charged extra. Good thing we hit stop before it charged us more...

I've been using this car wash for 10 years now and it's always been great. On the weekends the lineups can be long, but that's expected. I usually go on weekdays around 5pm, and there's no lineups. It's always clean and I always see the staff cleaning a bay or 2. I never have seen a bay with any build-up of mud. Sometimes you'll be in a bay where the coin machine won't take your toonies. That can be annoying. But when that happens I go and exchange them. There was one time about a month ago where it took my toonie and didn't give me my time, so I put in another one. When I was done I told the kid working there and said what happened and he gave me the attitude like I was lying! He gave me the toonie back, but I was alittle bugged because I wasn't trying to steal $2!! I just wanted what's fair! Anyways I'm not going to go somewhere else. It's just something small. Thank you

Great place to wash your car. They don’t gouge you like some other car wash places.

I have used Harpers as my primary car wash for the last several years. The location is generally convenient and the staff are nice as per my experience. Every Friday the outside vacuums are free which generally keeps me coming back. With that being said there are a few downsides which include the following: - The amount of time you get per dollar spent is less than the location just down the road by the McDonald’s - I frequently find that one or more of the vacuums outside are out of service, which can, during peak times, yield an unnecessary wait. - While not a mess, more effort could be payed towards general upkeep, such as the garbage outside which is almost always overflowing when I visit. Further, on two accounts there has been shattered glass where parking has been designated on the South end of the building. - Sometimes I find that after completing a wash the setup of this location permits overspray from other customers, which can be frustrating after spending time and money. - Minor complaint: I find that the hooks designed to hold car mats for being sprayed down require replacement, they are ineffective and my mats always fall off.

This car wash always works great good pressure and good products. It doesn’t take forever to get the car clean.

Great car wash I was very impressed by this car wash. Everything was in top working condition: Hot water wash, lots of soap, powerful water spray, great suction on the vacuum, bright lighting, very clean and well maintained facilities. Price was showing on pay machine during use, which made for no surprises at the end. It was about $1 per minute but well worth the price. Highly recommended.
