The puzzles were creative. The games comprised of multiple rooms, but the one I did would be cramped for a lot of people. One recommendation I would give is to provide a timer. We were given an hour glass so it was difficult to gauge the time elapsed. Price is typical of escape rooms in the area. The staff were ok. They give you a briefing prior to entering the room and after run through the clues.

Tonight, we participated in Charlotte's Attic at Captive Escape Rooms in Mississauga. We were very excited when we first arrived, but had an overall disappointing experience. The website is advertised as 45-60 minutes to escape the room. During our briefing, we weren't told how much time we'd have to escape, and there was no warning as to how much time we had left once we were in the room - until there was only 32 seconds left and the girl was coming in to tell us we were out of time. We were grouped with people we did not know, which we were not expecting and ultimately contributed to our poor experience. At the end of the game, when we said that we would have appreciated some kind of warning as to how much time we had left, she stated she "always gives a time check with the clues", which she had not. Then she stormed out without saying anything else and had the other girl come in to tell us our time was up - which we found very unprofessional. At the end of the game, we were anticipating our photo being taken, just as we see advertised on the website and at every other escape room, but they didn't even mention it to us. They seemed more interested in rushing us out so they could go home early for the evening. This escape room has the potential to be a really fun and entertaining experience, however, it needs staff that are genuinely interested in being there and enjoy their job. Not worth the $90.00 we spent.

Going here is a fun way to spend an afternoon with people you like. The puzzles are difficult and at times frustrating but all around it's a good time

Had a blast doing Dracula's Library, even though we didn't survive... We will be back to do the Murder room! The staff was also hilarious!
