Fantastic pizza. I had the smoked salmon with capers not very Italian, but very Vancouver!. They use a real pizza oven and the crust is excellent. Service was great, and friendly. I will be back, and am happy to hear they are planning more locations.

It was a very pleasant experience. Their staff are very polite and very helpful. They made us feel like home. The menu selection was a variety and very fresh. The toppings are excellent and lots of healthy choices like eating in a gourmet restaurant and not so greasy like other pizza places.The prices are very reasonable. I will definitely come back again and I do recommend this pizza joint to anyone. Vegetarian options: Very fresh.
I've been to all captains oven pizza locations and they've all been consistently amazing! I already ate some pieces in the picture because it's so good xD but my favourite ones to get are chicken pesto and meat lovers sooo delicious!!
Great service and great pizza! The ingredients are fresh and it shows on the food. They also have Brazilian pizza flavours which made me feel like home! The cheese lovers with catupiry is a must try.
The pizzas and the level of service is perfection! There are so many great options and they are good as they are or your can even create your own. Simply one of the best artisan style pizzeria! They make their sourdough in house and so, the crust is amazing. The service is equally amazing, always friendly and smiling! Must give it a try

My daughter and I were with Por Por Grandma and we needed some dinner. We decided to try out the newly opened location of Captain's Oven Pizza, inside Capilano Mall. It's got about 2 or 3 small tables where you can sit and eat but appears to be mainly a takeout pizza joint. I thought maybe we'd get one Vegetarian pizza, and one pizza with meat on it to bring home. Au contraire...Grandma decided we should get 4 different pizzas to try! Only with Grandma would we ever come home with 4 pizzas for 3 people. We got one small size each of Pepperoni, Hawaiian, Eggplant & Zucchini, and Caprese. They were all delicious. My personal favourite was the Caprese. The flavours of the pesto, grape tomatoes and red onions really stood out for me. Plus, the bright red colour of the grape tomatoes just made it more visually appealing. Sometimes I find that when my food looks better, it also tastes better. Service: Good Parking: Plentiful and free. Location: Inside Capilano Mall which is an extremely quiet mall; however, it's got a handful of good stores to offer as well as Walmart, which is a convenient place for groceries, clothing...etc. Also, there are many other businesses outside the mall; the much busier and trendier mall, Park Royal is a short drive away.
