Great weekend road trip destination. Big portion of fish and chips for about 24 bucks. They have specials you can get for 10 bucks! Good service. Would come back.

Very greasy, chips were not crispy, gravy was definitely powdered gravy. Halibut was fresh but covered in too much batter and grease

The chowder was lovely, I definitely want to come back for more of that because I only had a single spoonful from my girlfriend's plate. The fish was good, so were the prawns. I found out I'm not a fan of oysters but that's no fault of the restaurant. My only complaint isn't really even a complaint. The fries themselves were a little on the soft side, apart from that everything was great.

I’ve been to plenty of fish and chip spots in my life, growing up with my English Nana, and I think this is one of the best I’ve had! Hubby LOVES the clam strips and I always get the halibut. Super fresh and always great! Some reviews saying too greasy, but I haven’t experienced that whatsoever. I’ll be returning over and over.

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. Ordered 2 pc halibut and chips to go. Service was great, decent price, food quality is fine, the cooking however needs a bit of work. The chips were under cooked, could have really benefited from being double fried. The halibut was a bit tough and the batter was not crisp. I suspect the frier oil was not up to temperature when they dropped the fish. This meal was pretty heavy and greasy. Execution requires some work before I would visit this shop again.

Amazingly clean place, great service, very good food! We shared a plate of 3 different fish and fries with coleslaw for $28. it was A LOT! I agree with other comments here: need to advertise on the road. Now I regret not trying the clam chowder...Will visit when in Parksville!

I have to say the prices a quiet high, but the server was lovely. The food was decent but not really worth the price in my opinion. They have a little patio area with two tables and four chairs so you can sit outside if you have dogs but it does look out onto a very busy parking lot and quite a few shoppers pass by the tiny sidewalk as you eat. We had the haddock and chips with coleslaw.

Awesome place Came to this restaurant with my family and The restaurant itself is beautiful. The owner did all the artwork herself and it’s gorgeous. Our waitress was so friendly and sweet with our kids, and us. The food came out fast and it was so delicious. After we ate we were chatting with our waitress and the owner came out to meet us and we chatted a bit. Coming here was such a great experience we will definitely come back every time we come to Parksville, and highly recommend this place to all our family and friends! Thanks so much you guys got such an awesome experience and great food and friendly people! Keep putting smiles on people’s faces!

Food was fantastic. The service was amazing.

This was terrible. I spent 22 dollars on one piece of halibut and chips. The portion couldn't have been bigger than 2-3 ounces, it was soggy and under seasoned and the fries were just as bad. Took me 3 bites to finish my fish and I was left hungry. About the only saving grace was when I called I was offered a free piece "next time". Unfortunately there will not be a next time.
