Capouse Cafe LLC

One of the best burgers in Scranton! Better than a lot of the "higher" end places around; all 4 varieties of the burger are great. Add the fries with malt vinegar mayo and you really can't go wrong. If you like spicy food and burgers then give the Capouse burger a try. Yum! Filling too. We work nearby and they deliver locally, so we eat their food often. (If you work here you really can't beat that.) The food is consistently good, and the staff are always pleasant. I strongly recommend them.

After trying the Capouse Cafe for lunch, I quickly figured this would be a great lunch treat with great, fresh food! It's clean, comfortable, modern and has inviting staff. What really pushed me to write this review was the amazing generosity of Christine, her mother and the entire staff! I work with under privileged children who normally wouldn't have the chance to experience fresh food and the opportunity to learn about the food service field. She CLOSED down her cafe at 3:30 PM and allowed us to bring 13 kids over to try food with dipping sauces. I expected they would try something, and maybe take a tour. We were all surprised by the meal provided. She sat down and answered all the questions that the kids could come up with. No matter how small or sometimes, off topic, she answered everything with a smile. A tour of the kitchen followed. Simply, she gave them a chance to see something they normally wouldn't! The dedication she put into this experience is the same kind that she and her staff put into every single order!!! If your looking for a fresh food and great quality. You've found it in Capouse Cafe. You won't be "bored" with the same old lunch menu. I promise you that.
