I've heard a lot about this place so finally tried it out. It was good. A bit on the greasy side of things bit I still enjoyed it. The Alomond Chicken and Capital Chow Mein were my favorite part of the meal. Garlic pork was decent too. It was a nice treat. Will I return? Probably but not as often as other restaurants I my rotation.
Probably one of the best Chinese food restuarants I have tried in the Fraser Valley. I was honestly ready to give up if this place was a dud. It's unfortunate that it's hard to get through their phone lines but it was honestly worth it. Beef and Broccoli Cantonese chowmein was on point. Wonton soup was good. Pork Fried rice, amazing. Honey garlic pork was decent but could have used more sauce on it. All in all, this will definitely be my go to spot from now on.
We attended at the Capital last weekend with friends and again it was out of bounds. The family was all there except May. Paul was at our table to greet us after we were met at the door by Donna Ken's wife. He is Paul's son and the grand kids Jason and Jasmine were also there waiting tables. The place was packed as usual and as usual the food was beyond great. Janie and I have been going there for decades and we have never had a bad meal. Do yourself a favour and check it out.
We used to go to this restaurant regularly 20-25 years ago, then moved away. Today, passing through Chilliwack, decided to see if it was still around and still as good. It was! Absolutely nothing seems to have changed! We ordered a hot and sour soup and a Rock Fish Chop Suey. Because this place is NOT an Americanized Chop Suey restaurant, what they called Chop Suey was actually a delightfully prepared rock fish with a black bean sauce on a plate of mostly green beans. A delicious---very barbeque tasting---black bean sauce. The fish was prepared perfectly.
Horrible food... I have tried a couple times a year for the last 6 yrs and I don't know why... each time the food seems to get worse! HUNG LING is the best place for Chinese food in the wack !Food: 1/5
Understandably, prices have gone up dramatically as with everything else. However, the quality of food has gone way down. Almond chicken had a sliver of chicken in it, mostly batter. Protein portions are tiny. Carbs stacked to the brim. Unfortunately, it seems as if this restaurant has gone the way of the ginko. Which is a shame, because they used to be amazing.

Deep fried prawns not deveined. Gross. Not edible. Chow mien very dry. Wanted to try their Capital prawns, but will not unless deveined.
Good food and service. No long waits to get in or for your food, fresh and hot every time. Could use some ambiance and dim the lights a bit, but besides that, all goodFood: 4/5
Food was good but picked up for takeout and the customer service was non-existent. Totally unfriendly. Felt like just a # in a long line. No Hello or thank you for your service just simply a pickup. Disgraceful for such a long standing restaurant.Food: 5/5
