Let our Aveda trained therapists take care of all of your hair, skin, body and makeup needs. Our mission is to make you feel relaxed, comfortable and well taken care of. We offer beautiful surroundings, many amenities, and all of our therapists are very passionate about what they do. We use the highest quality products in our services to our guests. I went to this salon for a cut and color and was treated to the most amazing salon experience ever! Cordel was so kind and understanding with my wants and needs. He took the time to ask my preferences and added several unique touches to my visit. I have never been to an Aveda salon and he explained about differences from other colors vs Aveda products. He even got me a latte 💖.. What a Great Kid!! Very enjoyable experience!! Will for sure return to him!

I came in for a haircut and what I got was nothing like what I had asked for. I asked for long layers and face framing with a U-shape in the back and even showed my stylist pictures of what I liked. I left with a blunt, straight cut with no layers and choppy face framing. I was in the salon for about an hour and a half, but it felt like my stylist spent most of that time blow drying my hair (it takes me 10-15 minutes max to blow dry it normally). I told my stylist I wanted layers to hopefully give my hair a bit more volume, but instead he just loaded my hair with product to give it volume. This was after I told him I rarely style my hair in the mornings and usually just brush it, so I'm not sure why he thought lots of product would be the solution for me. By the time he was done, there was so much dry shampoo in my hair I could barely brush it or run my hands through it and the scent was giving me a headache. When he was done and asked what I thought the face framing was very uneven between sides so I asked him to even it out, but didn't want to ask him to go back and put in the layers like I asked since he had done such a poor job already.

My experiences at this salon were definitely above my expectations and hands down one of the best salon experiences I've ever had. The staff here was exceptionally friendly. I came here looking to make a big change by cutting a majority of the length of my hair off. I had a very vague idea of what I wanted but had no idea what to do since I'd never had my hair that short. Cordel worked with me to find a style that worked perfectly with my transition from long to short hair. I was also very nervous to make this change, and he helped relax my nerves before the big cut and talked with me the whole time which made the transition a very fun experience. The overall atmosphere of the salon is relaxing, and the staff is very interactive. I would highly recommend this salon to my friends/family. Also the products they use/sell are all natural, and they smell and feel amazing.

My absolute favorite spa! Comfortable, quiet and so relaxing. A therapeutic massage with Maggie is a wonderful treat. She is such a talented massage therapist, I can't wait for my next spa day!

I went to Canyon River after being consistently let down by other salons in town and have loved my experience. I see Josh who does an amazing job with my thick hair, he listens to what you want and takes his time. I would highly recommend this salon.
