Loved this hotel! We stopped in on our way through to Nova Scotia for Christmas. It was really nice to see it decorated for the holidays so beautifully! The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was so comfy, I had a fantastic sleep. There was a very large glass modern shower, enough space in it for two nThe toiletries were not my favourite. Peppermint and they tingled. For hair this is ok but for body wash beware!nThe bathroom counter top had ample space for makeup and hair tools, which made getting ready pretty easy. The only downfall there was the lack of a lighted mirror, but I had brought my own.nThe room was designed in a very quirky way, which I enjoyed.nThe service was great, we were asked how everything was with our room upon arriving inside.nIm not sure if there was a pool/gym/etc we didn't stay long enought to find out, so I can't comment on that.nOverall, I would recommend and I would return. I got the best sleep, and it was a very clean and comfortable room, and I think those are the most important things to have during a hotel stay.
I enjoyed staying here for two nights; the service from check-in to check-out was impeccable.nThe room was unique, modern, and clean, with a sunset view over the city.nLocation: one block from Main Street, 15 15-minute walk to the Avenire Center, and 25 minutes to Champlain Mall following the walking trails.n3 restaurants, including the lobby coffee shop, and must try for breakfast!nIf you are looking for a very spacious modern room, this is your sign, so book now.
We recently celebrated an anniversary here with a stay in a room with a sunrise fourth floor balcony view. The rooms are beautiful and privacy is top notch. I don’t think you will find a nicer hotel in New Brunswick. There is a rooftop restaurant with a terrace to watch the sunset. There is an included love seat located near the bed. Lighting in this room is a dream with flexible lighting on both sides of the king size bed overhead. There is no lack of light if this is your thing. If you like to sleep in late the shades/curtains are dark enough to block that morning sunrise from waking you up. There is a nice desk adjacent to the bed for reading or whatever you fancy. The room comes with two free water bottles; one is room temperature and the other is chilling in the fridge. Most everything else you see on display has price tags on them so be aware of that. We would stay there again.nnThings to work on: We could not give a five star for service because there was no breakfast in bed option provided by the hotel. Gahan House offered it from 10:00 AM onward but that was too early for a morning person. For a hotel room that is nearly $400 a night you would think the toilet paper would be better. The toiletries were well supplied except for towels, hand towels and face-clothes. Charging for parking is also a hit on service. We almost didn’t find a spot to park which could have ruined our night.
I stayed here in September 2024, and loved it! Rooms were spacious and immaculate. Would 100% stay again in this unique hotel! Very quiet building, and beautiful balcony.
Our first time staying here. We got the suite for a little getaway. What a beautiful spot, great features with two different restaurants, brewery, cafe and the ANBL experience store all attached.nnNit picking but few things need to be fix in the suite. The microwave door doesnt open due to being too big and cupboard was installed incorrectly. The dishwasher was not anchored/installed properly and fell over and get rid of those bachelor pad iron boards and put in full sized one. Record players are a nice touch unfortunately the records are damaged beyond use.
