It was my birthday and we decided we wanted to pass by this place. We read the opening times wrong but the owner opened the door for us. Let us walk around, take pictures and gave us free water bottles. I was not expecting this level of courtesy, especially because we went before opening. He was very very nice and I wanted to highlight it. On top of that, the interior design is beautiful. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone who is potential interested to try! Thank you again!!
This bar has a super cool atmosphere, and it is a very creative place. Anywhere your look you will find nice decor to mathc a candy concept. In this place you will have a lot of fun. specifically with their slushi cocktails and with they mega candy cocktails. Also, they have a live dj and good music selection. If you are hungry, food is at good price! Danger!! you can get drunk very fast here haha
A good time! Lots of global music which I enjoyed. I’d come back. No cover to get in when I went.
Some really fun drinks. I tried the lychee martini which was great, the zombie which was probably my favourite, but may be a bit sweet for some and the frappuccino, which was similar to an espresso martini with a sweeter taste which was pretty nice too, most of the drinks came with a lil sweet something which added to it. The food menu is pretty basic, but it's more of a bar. I tried the grilled cheese with bacon and it was delicious. This place is fun and has a unique atmosphere, it had a large terrace with heating and was following all the covid safeties I'd say it's a little pricey for what you get, but still an enjoyable visit for some fun cocktails
The concept is cool, the food is pretty good considering most bars don't even have food, but the drinks are alright at most. I do think it's worth coming around once or to show someplace new to another, but I can't imagine coming here regularly because the supposed speciality drinks the bar's main gimmick just aren't that good. I'm someone who enjoys sweeter drinks, the less it tastes like alcohol, the more I welcome it. But the specialty drinks here, a combination of alcohol and candy, just have an odd combination of flavors that don't really compliment each other. It was like drinking two different drinks at the same time. Individually nice, together not so much.
This place was great. We came from out of town and didn’t know what to expect. It ended up being the highlight of our weekend. The nachos were good. The drinks were great! The music was good. What really sealed the deal was Alex at the bar. The absolute best service ever! It was nothing but laughter and we knew we were taken care of. We will definitely be back! Thanks Alex!
Really good cocktails at decent prices and a cool ambience. Their summer terrace is really nice too. I like their pina colada quite a bit. Great spot to grab a drink near Mont Royal
There’s definitely racial discrimination involved in who is allowed in and how you’re addressed. The manager bald guy was immediately aggressive when we arrived to line up. We were visiting from out of town, and when we arrived - we were having jovial conversations with the bouncers and they were checking our IDs. The manager who was attending to other customer on their patio a good 15-20 feet away, quickly strode across the patio after zeroing in on us and screamed at us to get into line. Granted we were about 1/2 a foot to the left of where the line sign was, but we were the only ones in line and we were standing just to the left. Then just as quickly as we lined up, he stayed around to monitor us, and granted there was a reservation issue and the bouncers explained this to us calmly while he huffed and puffed and kept reiterating to them to not let us in. The bouncers tried to mitigate the situation by being very kind but his energy was very unstable. We thanked them and decided to go somewhere else, and ordered a ride. We decided to watch discreetly while we waited for an Uber to see if he upheld the policy with everyone, and also spoke to everyone with that same level of aggression. Not only did we witness him let people in without the same like of questioning after, we noticed he was always agressive with BIPOC groups, especially women. In fact, we bumped into several groups on that strip that told us the same and warned us not to go there because of that. Very disgusting. If you just want first hand experience on his character - look at how he addresses any negative feedback regarding discrimination in the reviews; dismissive, arrogant, derogatory, mocking, and derisive. That is the long and short of how he treated my group and several others we witnessed.
Great place, sweet drinksliterally, the only thing I wished I’d realized was that it’s half night-club, so expect loud music and dancing.
This place is terrific. I loved it years ago before it closed after it caught fire. I’m so happy since it reopened. Great place to go. Great atmosphere. Great location. Very close to mont royale metro. The drinks are terrific. It’s great in the summer when the open the front up. I highly recommend it.
