Canadian Tire

I would not recommend this Canadian Tire's auto service. I had an oil change done here last year. When I tried to do it myself this year, I couldn't get the oil drain plug removed with my torque instruments and I assure you that I'm not a weak guy.nnWhen I came to complain, I asked the staff employee if they use impact wrenches for this job they're not supposed to because it can damage the oil drain pan. This staff member there told me that yes, they do, and that they cut every corner they can. He also told me that the mechanics there are the lowest of the low, they don't care about the quality of their work and about peoples' cars. Apparently, some of them have issues with addiction that affect their work performance.nnThey also didn't install a washer / crush gasket to seal the oil. The Director at the store just shrugged his shoulders at my observation.nnThey were nice enough to loosen the oil drain plug, but nothing more, even though it was their mistake. I thought i would be able to do the oil change there, but their Director refused and told me its my problem. When I came back, the plug got stuck again. I had to buy a tool set to remove the rounded oil drain plug, and I barely removed it after some effort.nnThis would not have happened if these people did a proper job. I wasted a lot of time and money fixing their mistake. There was never an apology on their end, just an indifferencennLearn to do your oil changes yourself, and stay away from the people at the auto shop

Friendly service. Buy anything you need for your car or home or camp, in ine spot.

No much inventory compare to when it was BSRB. A lot of material is only available under special order.

Looking for paint and nobody was at the counter so I picked up the phone and when someone answered I said “ I need help in paint “ the answer I had was “Good luck!” Awkward Pause, I let her know I was a client . “Sorry, I am on my way” when she arrived I asked “was she was familiar with paint “ Depends, what do you want” she answered. I got some great paint at Benjamin Moore store Nadon et Fils. Sorry to have disturbed everyone at CT
