I absolutely love that they do not have self check out and actual cashiers. Our cashier was very professional and courteous. The garden centre was affordable and the plants were in great condition. We were very happy with our overall experience.
Bought a bunch of stuff at the party center and paid for it at their branch. The woman who works there is amazing and very helpful when we left we walked by the front and got some plants paid for as we left. The woman who works by the customer service asked to check my bag??? I don’t see them doing this to any other people there so assuming we are young POC and ur only asking ME to check my bag leaves a very bag taste in my mouth !
Today, earlier during the day drove from St. Thomas to Tillsonburg for shopping for a Garbage Bin and some other garden tools. Other Canadian Tire didn't have the Garbage bin available. They thought I was some sort of Native thief in their store, one female pretending to be scanning while I was picking up some garden tools. We did have a little conversation, while she was pretend to scan. Being followed in the store, experience some sort of racism in the store. I did have one gentlemen that was nice though, he help me getting the Garbage Bin. I didn't know racism runs the store at Canadian Tire at Tillsonburg, St. Thomas is a better Canadian Tire.
A wide variety of products in each department and reasonably priced. All staff are friendly, always helpful and they always have a smile.
The most uncomfortable and unpleasant experience shopping here! Couple of the co workers were nice and welcoming the others not so much Especially in sports area. My husband needed help with something and the lady was so disrespectful. I can understand you might be having a bad day but you’re working in retail where you have to engage with customers there’s absolutely no need for you to treat people that way.
