This is a good Canadian Tire, well-stocked, well-staffed. I've found that even if the line at the checkout is long, it moves pretty quickly because often the service desk cashier will wave a customer to that station. So glad that we have this store in Tillsonburg.
I went in to book an appointment to get my tires put on and was first told that the tires I was getting put on were “way too big” for my car they’re actually the size that is written inside the door and two after I clarified that I asked if I could book an appointment anywhere between 12 and 1:30ish and was told that people normally go on lunch around then so I de have to wait until after 2:30. A little disappointed in the service I received today.
Great location. Always clean. Staff is amazing. Shout out to the paint department ladies having dog treats for the puppies. Everyone on staff that we have talked to is just lovely helpful and knowledgeable. Another special shout out to the automotive department for knowing their stuff and helping us get in and out quickly
I just called the store asking a simple question about rentals and I was pretty much shut down with no help. So incredibly unprofessional. I travel a lot and have rented from Canadian Tire for years so was just calling out of curiosity before I went out and purchased something. I asked if they provided rentals for any equipment and she rudely said ‘for what? Cars or?’ I was simply asking if they rent out steam cleaners because I have done so in the past, and the customer service agent said ‘no, no no we don’t do that!’. You should train whoever works at customer service to say simply no I’m so sorry we don’t do rentals for that. Such and such place does or just leave it and and state sorry that’s not a service they provide. Not making the customer feel stupid for asking a simple question just trying to gather information and find out resources. I wasn’t expecting it to be a yes but just didn’t expect to feel like I was an idiot for calling and asking a simple question.
