Canadian Tire

Don't go to their garage it's really sucks. I went there last Friday for uber inspection, they did it and they said I needed to change my rear wiper blade so I said yes the mechanic checked their stock and didn't find one that fits neither their suppliers, so he said u need to do it outside nd I asked how will I get my report ? He said u just need to come back and I will check it's repaired that all and then I will give u the report. I bought it from bumper to bumper nd installed myself and I went back to them, they charged me 22 dollars for re-inspection. I told him it's not my fault u don't have it in stock but who am talking too. I asked for the manager he said no manager in here they called him on phone he said it's canadian tire policy if they don't repair it u will be charged for re-inspection . I talked for the sales manager, he checked and said I understand u and tomorrow we will call u for refund. Guess what no call no refund no sorry. It's the worst place u can go for car repairs . U should never try it stupid scammers!!!

DO NOT GO TO THERE. This review is in 2 parts, first part details the shop and second part details the garage. Products inside the shop: Not so bad if you know what item you want and where to find it in the store. If you think that you might need any advice on a product or it's location, just go somewhere else. Beceause you won't find anyone unless you're really patient. Now let's say you're in luck and you found one that wasn't busy or hiding, the chances that he knows any advice for your product is VERY low. Most of the people working there are the same minimum wage people you'd find at a McDonald's and that's fine, nothing wrong with that, just know that. Anyways, so let's say now you're done and you go to the cash... Well it might be a long wait. We were 10 clients in line with only one girl (she was also the one taking care of the refunds) so it took me about 20min to pay. This CT got cash register on both sides of the shop so maybe other side was better idk. But it wasn't the first time i waited so long, definetly last time though... Garage/ mechanic: Honestly, unless you're STUCK with a MAJOR and i really mean MAJOR car issue and you're regular garage is closed, DO NOT GO THERE. I personally would'nt even go there with a MAJOR car issue, i'd be scared that they make it worst, i'd just get a bus pass and get the vehicle towed to my garage (or maybe another Canadian Tire with better service idk). A regular garage only open from monday to friday and most of them close at 4pm so that's the only argument CT garage has, as well as low prices but there's a reason for that. First of all they dont want you the see what's happening to your car once inside the garage. They have two window that could let the customer see, one of them is completely shut and the other one as a bunch of poster and stickers in the way... Ask yourself why they'd hide. Second of all and most importantly, they're incompetent. To be honest the mechanics are fine, they just do what they're told by the service, they do mess up repairs from time to time beceause they lack of experience but thats alright if service makes up for it. The problem is (and it happened to me) if they MESS up and you find yourself in the same situation or a worst situation with your car than originally, you're in for a ride. They say the job is guaranteed, well let me tell you it's not. First if you want your money back that's not gonna happen they only refund parts. Second if you want them to fix it again, they might charge you something for it claiming that it's your car's fault not the mech's fault and that they have something else to do they didn't do the first time. Third, even if they fix it again you'll feel like you wasted so much time that you got robbed. The service of the garage is the main issue, they don't take any human aspect into account, they just see potential money. Beceause of them i was stuck on the road in traffic on my way back from work at 5pm, i called CAA on my own, had to wait 1 hour, paid them with my money, they towed me to the CT beceause i had spoken with the service guy before hand who told me it was gonna be free. Once in the garage they knew i was stuck and i was gonna sign any bills they'd throw at me and i actually did. Even after claiming i'd never go back here, they really didn't seem to care.

This is a horrible Canadian Tire location. The service is non existant, employees do not seem to want to work and are incapable of answering customer queries, managers are not customer friendly and really do not seem to care about customer satisfaction. I have been to many other canandian tire stores in Montreal and Laval are they are much better than this one. This store is a huge dissappointment and disgrace to the Canadian Tire brand name.

worst service ever! today i bought cover seats for my car, the price paid was more than the price on the stock, i asked to seller to verify and they return with the same answer like the price paid is the good one , i took the label with the price in the shop, i shown them and theysais will return the difference, i answered that is price politcs with 10$ return after reduced price. after that i need to wait "the boos" 25 minutes (after 10 minutes i asked to seller to call him again and answered me "is busy") for have finally return 10$ + difference between 2 prices

This is just a terrible place. Last time I came I promised myself it was going to be my last. I ended up going back Today and it was just as messy and overall terrible. Products are all over the place, the whole store is dirty there is no service, theres like 2 cashier for 50 clients, the staff doesn't know how to do their job and you have to wait 30mins to get served on a Thursday morning. I much rather drive a mile or 2 and get real services at maisonneuve or langelier.
