Canadian Tire

They've updated the store nicely, I really like the new order pick up system where you scan your pick up QR code from your smart phone and the locker pops right open. Very convenient! I REALLY APPRECIATE the fact they do not have self check outs and have stuck with cashiers. It should be that way everywhere in my opinion. It's nice inside but I knocked off a star because you literally cannot leave without going through the checkout zone.

I do not recommend this store especially their auto repair department. I came in this morning at 8:30 to get my tire repaired. This customer service who is miserable looking told me to come back at 10:45 as they don't have tire techs yet. I asked if I should book an appointment so I can get a guaranteed slot and was told by him that there is no need and I should be looked after. I came in at 10:30 and a repair order was keyed in and was told it should take about an hour. Around 11:15 I noticed that my car was not in the shop yet and followed up and was told it should be next. Went for lunch in the mall and went back around 12 noon and my car is still not in. Followed up again because I have a work meeting at 1:30 and 2:00 pm. They finally picked my car in the parking lot at 1:00 pm. It took about 50 mins to repair and finally got my car out and paid at 1:52 pm 3.5hrs!. Had to take my work call on my phone. They need to have a better process and better staff badly needed re-training, regular check-in and update with the customer should be part of their jobs.

I would give 0 if there would be an option. Worst customer experience and very rude manager. I had an appointment for 1 pm and they took my car in garage around 3 and charged me for nothing.I have been told the allignment has been done of the vehicle, however it wasn’t. I checked with other Canadian tire, they mentioned it has never been done and they charged me for doing nothing. When I visited the store,I have been told to contact manager on phone # and when I told him whole story, he said he can’t help and hang up. I called him back 7 to 8 times and never ans my call until I called them from No caller ID. One of the worst Canadian tire of Winnipeg, never gonna visit them again after. They don’t value their customers and their time. Advise to other customers too, don’t get any job done with them instead visit some other Canadian tire.

I cannot ever recommend this store to people. We bought a battery about 5 months ago for my wifes car, which came with a 3 year replacement warranty. just last week we had the car running and then suddenly today, the battery is dead and wont even boost. I took it in as we needed the car for today, and after explaining to the guy behind the automotive counter who is quite miserable looking and not at all customer service oriented had told me he wouldn't do anything until he put it on a charger for 2 hours. I explained I really need this taken care of as I have important matters that need to be tended to, but he just shrugged it off and said come back in 2 hours. Canadian Tire very obviously does not value or respect their customers time. We will NOT be patronizing Canadian tire again in the future, this has resulted in lost business now for them. Take your money elsewhere.

My steering wheel shouldn’t be turned at 90° and driving straight.nThe guy at the automotive desk was no help and completely rude - probably because I am a woman getting my car fixed.nnI was looking around for help and no one would help me, I even tried calling the store over 50 times and no one would pick up the phone.nnTHANK YOU CANADIAN TIRE FOR THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AND RUINING MY ALIGNMENT!nnTLDR: do not go here, worst place ever. They will ruin your car. No customer service. They do not care.
