Canadian Tire

I was in Canadian Tire today and was looking for the garden refuse bags along with other items. I only had a hand basket. I asked a store clerk where I could find the bags and he very politely showed me where they were. I struggled to get the bags into my basket and decided to carry them. I went on my way to find the other items in my list and all of a sudden the clerk Richard was beside me with a buggy. He took time away from his duties, got a cart and tracked me down to make my shopping easier. I know it seems like a small thing but that is wonderful customer service. Thank you Richard at the Campbell River store. Polite, friendly and going the extra distance for customer service!

Seemingly understaffed. Waited five minutes for someone to unlock a cabinet for me, including having two different people radio it in for me and a visit to customer service. No one showed up so I went and got the power tool at Home Depot. Great customer service at Home Depot.

One of my favorite stores. Many household items and tools and car supplies are available here. Has a decent selection of sporting equipment including bikes and fishing gear. Happy Canada Day to an iconic Canadian chain.

On a road trip from northern Alberta to north Vancouver island. Replaced a tie rod and needed to borrow a grease gun for literally 5 pumps of grease. Canadian tire refused to let me borrow a grease gun for 5 seconds to ensure my family was safe on the road and instead suggested I book the truck in to have 5 pumps of grease put into the tie rod. Canadian tire does not seek to help canadians and they only care about money over safety. I absolutely will not be shopping here anymore.
