Canadian Tire

Rude staff. Went into the store a couple minutes before closing, unaware of the closing time (Which was 6:00 on a Monday... pretty pathetic business hours for a Canadian Tire). Before we even get through the door, the young rude girl at customer service says “just so you know, we close in 2 minutes..” I work in customer service myself and would never say that to a customer in such an arrogant tone. It’s not what you say but how you say it. Thumbs down for not training your staff to be friendlier and put the customers first.

Gotta keep an eye out for sale prices , they arent always logged into the computer. Also the shelves don't have items in proper places, took forever to find out that they weren't in stock after all. Customer service is great. Very helpful & kind.

Pretty much one of my favourite stores in any town. I gotta say - the Smithers Canadian Tire closes early sometimes. I just got here and ya it was 5 minutes to closing, doors locked and no one in sight. Then I get in the truck and suddenly all the staff leave at once, still 3 minutes to spare before posted closing time. I just needed a drill bit to finish off my weekend chore list. This is the 3rd time in a month this has happened with between 5 & 10 minutes left before closing.
