You'd think that a company of this size would have all its "ducks in a row"....but when I signed up for online management of my account, I followed all the listed "rules" for creating a password for my account: Must be 6-12 characters in length, Must not contain special characters or accents; No multiple repeating characters, etc.... However, they left out a CRITICAL requirement, and that is that the password MUST CONTAIN at least one numeral. I attempted to set it up three times, then, (based on my inherent computer genius intuition) took a wild guess that it "might want" a number included. I added the digit 6......and bingo, it accepted it immediately. As a test, I went to the manage profile page where I CHANGED my password.....and for some bizarre reason, on THAT page it DID include the instruction to include a numeral in my new password! Go figur.

It’s nice to have some faith in good customer service restored. Frank McGuire’s professionalism and customer service skills turned what could have been the worst customer experience into a win for the Canadian Tire Bank. I am a customer for life thanks to his actions.
