What really annoys me about this company is not the people; the people are nice and the customer service is decent/responsive (hence 2 stars), but I've tried to use their services twice now and on both occasions, they have always opened with how difficult it would be to find the source of my leak, and that there's no guarantees. It's such a pessimistic outlook for - at times - desperate homeowners. I get it, you can't always detect a leak but you should have a track record where you're able to detect like 98% of them with modern day technology, no? Like, hello, your name says "Leak Detection" in it. Own up to it, or change your name to "Leak Detection Some But Not All of The Times Just So You Know" Most recently, they turned down my request for their services because I indicated that I think there's an issue where water is getting into a roof vent. Their response: "We offer a cause & origin service to help with mystery leaks like yours but we no longer get on roofs so this may not be for us." My response was, okay well send someone to find the origin of the leak - heck come when it's raining...check my plumbing...my attic...anything, and they said "The only way to eliminate your suspicion of the roof vents is to spray water on them in natural and unnatural directions to see if leakage occurs. You will need a roofer and a really long water hose that reaches. Try that." Not even the slightest interest in helping me. So even if I wanted to pay them to 'Detect a Leak' as their name implies, they can't/won't do it. Overall - the customer service is okay, but the execution and the can-do attitude just isn't there.

Excellent service, the crew arrived next day, exactly on time and it took them app 5 minutes to detect the leak. Well, other, definitely less smart people spent a week trying to localize the leak without any results. And because how quick it was we were charged like less that 30% of the expected fee. I would recommend Canadian Leak Detection to anyone. If you have a water leak problem their is the first number you should call.
