So quick to take your money but when you wanna talk to them to get more info, but when you want talk to them asking for explanation, no answer. What a joke of an organization. Have fun with my tax money you useless bunch of greedy pigs.

One star is too generous!!! Terrible service is the norm with CRA and no one seems to care! They are almost proud of it and no one assumes any responsibility! Yes, very prompt to take our taxes and charge interest from day one but no access to a knowledgeable person is possible. All correspondence is to be in writing and there is presently a 1-5 month wait before they will open your mail! Beyond third world incompetence! Totally shocking to me! Our Prime Minister needs to apologize to the tax payers of Canada for such terrible service!

I know this regards the website but....I find it extremely frustrating and aggravating that in order to sign in and find out your income from the last year, you have to know your income from the last year. When this is no longer sent to you and only available online, how does it make any sense to have to know it in order to sign in and find out what it is? Every time I have to sign in I need to phone them and get auto-hung up on, wait for an inconveniently timed call back, and guess what the first question is they ask? Is there really no other way to verify a one's identity other that this frustrating question which can only be answered by signing in to the account which is asking for it as a sign in requirement? I'm seriously thinking this is something that could easily be changed I can't be the only one wasting time over it.

It would be nice if they mentioned that this place is for appointments only. If you walk 2km in the rain to get there in hopes of dealing with regular issues on a personal account they won't let you in the door. Was just told to call them. I could have used that information when I checked the website instead of getting directions to walk there. That way I wouldn't be soaked through my jacket and pissed off.

Applied for EI October 2016, it's currently September 2017 and I have recieved nothing. I try to call and the phone lines and always busy. This "public service" is an absolute joke. It would be in the federal governments best interest to spend a bit of money to increase their capacity and help their own citizens. Not to mention the website is horror show. Apparently user-friendly is not on their list of requirements in terms of web development.
