Visited on the day of Thai poosam and the temple indeed serves as a place of spiritual practice and community engagement. My visit was truly an enriching experience.

It is first day of Kanda shasti festival after Deepavali. It seems that the temple is opened through out the day during Kanda shasti festival I.e. a week long celebrations. Had nice darshan of Lord Muruga and other deities. My memories travelled back to Chennai, South India. Nice ambiance and hindu cultural centre. I am fortunate to see Swamy's veedhi vula within the temple. Lot of car parking space.
This temple is absolutely beautiful. It has a peaceful atmosphere and the devotees and staff are very friendly. I felt very happy visiting this place and it's hard to believe that this temple is here in the city. It is easy to reach here by TTC for it is near Eglinton Avenue and Birchmount Road but there's plenty of parking too if you drive.nnPlease note that when you enter, there are Covid-19 protection/ prevention measures in place. Your temperature is taken and contact information taken down for contact tracing.
This temple is marvelous. The sculptures and architecture inside the temple are so beautiful. I was awe struck. I was looking to visit a Shiv temple, and I was happy that the experience was divine. There are other God and Goddess, too. The temple priests will perform pooja on your request.
