Camping du Lac Cristal

Attention dog owners: we specifically checked if dogs were allowed when making our reservation only to be told once we were there that we could not walk our dog (even on a leash) off our tiny camp site. Our dog won't poop where her people live so this was a huge problem. No rules listed on their website either. If we knew this we never would have gone there with our dog. They also gave our guests (who paid $20 to be there for the day) a hard time about opening the waterslide so our kids could use it on a hot sunny day. It was an otherwise pleasant stay. I highly recommend it if you want to try out tent camping with small children for the first time, there was a playground across from our campsites (18 & 19) with a clear view and no traffic to worry about. The lake was small but had a nice clean Sandy bottom.

Absolutely disgusting how much garbage and plastic is left in the surrounding woods near the lake. The campers do not respect the private areas around the actual campsites. This is coming from someone who has family on the opposing side of the lake and is often picking up after campers who wander past the terrain.

J'y suis allé 3 fois passer une journée. J'ai beaucoup aimé. Il y a un lac artificiel. Idéal d'y aller les journée de canicule. Beaucoup de grands arbres. Beau décor.
