Camping Cabano

Thanks for laughing uproarously with your ignorant guests when I tried to negotiate the rate bc I had a tiny tent. You don't know what others are going through, so thanks so much. Had an anxiety attack because your other rude guests with their giant RV took up all the space in your little waiting area and refused to move out of the way. Just a crappy, rude experience. Would rather sleep in a ditch than stay at this place.

This is my second time here! I highly recommend this place because the friendliness of the staff is second to none! Even though I don't speak French, it's easy to get along here! They make an effort and do everything for their guests, which isn't something you'd take for granted and is rare. Very clean restrooms, very clean site, lots of activities for children too. Highly recommended! Thank you for the wonderful stay

The woman responsible for checking in guests was rude and behaved in an unprofessional manner. Never come back.

Beautiful campground on our way to the maritimes. The lots are a good size, with shade available. Refreshing pool, live entertainment every evening, and exceptional customer service from Sylviane, the owner. Also a member of Good Sam. Hope to be back again. Merci!

I am using Camping Cabano as a single night stop on my way to Ontario from Halifax and was pleasently surprised by it. It is well worth making plans for a multi-day visit. The camp site is very good quality, very well organized and has an excellent location. For us it was important not to do extra driving and really the entrance to the campsite is about 2 minutes away from the highway exit and about a minute away from a gas station. Lake Teniscouata is very close and it is beautiful, a great playground for a longer stay.nnThe campground is good sized and has everything from no service tent sites to full service sites. Good internet on about 1/4 of the campsite, so ask for ut if it is important to you when calling to reserve. Pool and other ammenities are available and are well maintained. The sites are well spaced and offer good privacy.nnReservation was easy, I unfortunately cannot speak French but the owner answered and handled my reservation quite easily in English, same with my registration upon arrival. I was offered a few site choices and had good explanations to make an informed decision. All services are good quality and had no issues at all. The site was very quiet, noise from the highway is not an issue.nnI am making an extra effort on this report because I was hesitant to use this campsite because of some negative comments I read when making my decision. My experience is really very good.
