Great place for kids. Definitely lots to do. Loved the four person bike. If I had to say anything negatively it would be their beach. It needs a lot of work. Lots of muck. Water not very clean. Having the indoor pool kind of makes up for it but it was very crowded. Overall was a nice place to camp. I would come back. Noise level was very low surprisingly for the holiday weekend.

I’m a Freelance writer for an outdoor magazine circulated in Lower Michigan. I had read negative comments about this campground, but felt I should try it without judgment. This campground is spotless, well groomed and offers amenities. The Wi-Fi, cable, pool and beach come with the campsite fee. The remaining comes with a fee of $5/day/child, for putt-putt golf, canoes and a bounce pad. There is no family maximum fee, making it expensive for a family of three or more. There is a problem with the seasonal campers maintaining the speed limit; perhaps that comes with seniority. The only negative issue we experienced; again a seasonal camper, approached our young children, while enjoying the beach, wearing a Gorilla costume. They were frightened enough to want to leave the area. This was reported to the owner’s wife. Her response was, she had heard about it after the fact. Final evaluation would return. Give it #8.
