I am a huge camping fan and always on the look out for a campsite that offers many amenities along with private lots. This Camping ground has so many wonderful amenities for families and specially kids which is great. It was also only 15 min drive to Clifton Hill or you could take advantage of the bus service. Washrooms were clean, lots of stalls along with plenty of showers. They even have a laundry room for people staying longer the a night or two. The staff was super friendly and very helpful, the other campers were very nice and respectful of other campers. This camp ground seems to have many regulars which is nice to see. The downside of this place is privacy, lots are bunched together and no trees or bushes to separate each lot. The lots were also pretty small, we were in the back which said 18 feet long 8 feet wide however there was a small hill which cuts off at least 4 feet. Also note there is a train track right behind the camp ground which happened to be about 12/16 feet from our spot so every morning 8am that train would pass and honk his horn. Finally check out 11:30, we wanted to pack up the camp before taking our showers it was raining so we finished by 10am and went to shower and surprisingly the bathrooms were closed for cleaning . Who closes a bathroom/shower for cleaning at check out....I went to get coffee to give them time to finish and when i got back the gates were closed for us to enter. I had to walk in the rain from the office area to the showers. Thankfully i was only there to sleep and spent only 3 nights, i would not recommend this place if you are looking for more privacy but defiantly great if you don't care and want for things for the family to do while camping.
My stay was end of September, considered "end of season." Not sure how the busy summer season would fare. Parked my 24' trailer, sites were very narrow with little tree coverage. 200 sites I'd guess sites are maybe 20' wide before your neighbors trailer is right there smaller than other similar campgrounds we've stayed in. Grass was very long at our site. Looks like it had not been cut in 2 weeks .Playground "opens at 9am" but locks were not taken off until 10-1030 not sure if this is seasonal. About 12 kids waiting for playground to open. Playground seems pretty sketchy/ not aging well. Restrooms were pretty unclean. I've been in cleaner gas station facilities. Very close to train tracks which we heard once/day. Site also off a busy road Lundy's Lane so expect quite a bit of traffic noise. Many of the attractions were shut down for the season. Overall- Location of this campsite coupled with small camp sites makes it difficult to have a quiet camping experience. However, the proximity to Niagara Falls attractions, it makes it a nice excuse to stay in your trailer for a weekend or "pop in" for those looking to stay a night or two during a long distance road trip.
Clean, well maintained campground. Pricey, but typical for a pull thru, three way hookup site with a level gravel pad. Lots to do for kids. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a decent campground in a city.
Great campground for family’s with young children! There is so much to do for them here. Sites are shaded just right that you rarely hear an AC running. There is a fairly large seasonal presence but there is no seasonal attitude.. everyone is so pleasant here right from when you check in with the welcoming staff to walking around the park with the kids.
Im always surprised to see some of these poor reviews. We have had nothing but a great stay at Campark. Recently we were there for provincial women’s ball tournament and the staff were great. Very helpful and understanding when we switched our reservation from a cabin to our trailer lot. Allowed us to leave the trailer vs drag it from diamond to diamond on the Sunday within the park where it was safe. I’ve always made this my first choice for our ball weekends in the past and they never disappoint. Reasonable rates and a great little park.
Fabulous campgrounds. There are so many amenities and things to do, plus it's close to all attractions and downtown Niagara Falls. We stayed for a week with our 5th wheel travel trailer and young child, there was so much to do from arts and crafts on weekends, splash pad, swimming pool, hot tub over 16yrs, two large bouncy pillows, 3 playground areas, mini putt, and daily wagon/tractor rides 11am and 6pm. We absolutely loved our time here, their RV sites have both back-in and drive-through options that are quipped with 15,30,50 amp services, sewer hookup, water hookup, fire pit and picnic table. Rates are very reasonable. We will definitely come again!
The staff that were in the office 5/5 but everything else is 3/5. Wifi is only at the barn with only 3 tables to sit on. On our 2 day of a 4 day visit, at 9am we had someone cutting the grass on our site right by our door and back windows! We had trees and a fence in the back of us, so there was no one behind us. There are cats that are running wild.We won't be back again!
Had a very pleasant stay at Campark over the weekend. We are local, and would never have expected how nice this park is! When we booked there were lots of sites left, and it's right off Lundy's Lane, so we thought we knew what we were in for... Nope, this place is seriously GREAT! Definitely a hidden gem. We had a pull-through full service site. All sites are roomy and level, with nice soft grass and trees with just the right amount of shade. The park was quiet, and everyone - other visitors, seasonals and staff - were very friendly. We enjoyed the heated saltwater pool, hot tub and mini putt. The yellow bouncy pillow was a hit with the kids. Park staff were seriously on top of emptying garbages - kudos. The bathrooms were clean. The firewood was nice and dry. No issues with any of the services - note the park has high pressure water so be sure to use your pressure regulator! Will definitely be back!
It was ok... we were supposed to go into 325, but the site had ruts so deep I would have bottomed out my coach. The 2nd site was so tight I couldn't open my slides. The 3rd 333 was OK, but I couldn't open my awning. We were there for 10 days and visited all the sites on the Canadian side of the Falls so the location was good for that. WiFi wasn't that great for us. They had a lot of activities for kids, so there were many families there that week. Lots of tent sites were available and full that week.
Checked in on Friday afternoon and left on Sunday morning. Staff in the office was very nice. We stayed in a regular cabin. Would recommend bringing a fan as it gets very hot. There were 4 families that had booked the 4 cabins beside us that were quite disrespectful with yelling at all hours. Appreciate the person that went around and told them they had to be quieter. Bathrooms were a bit dirty and lacked soap at most times. I forgot my shower product and had to purchase shampoo, conditioner and body wash from the store. Was very pricey for what it was. We booked axe throwing for Saturday night and had so much fun! Owen was awesome. Overall our stay was okay. The axe throwing definitely bumped our experience up.
