Great place for family or large group outings. Camp out here every year. Think it's funny how someone in the comments below said that spots are right on top of one another. Every site here has trees in between them. It's in the top 10 Campgrounds in MN. Camped all over Mn. In about 90% of the campgrounds I'm this state. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Plenty to do for kids from fishing to hiking

Not at all overly impressed. The bathrooms are filthy with no electricity. The male owner will not only stalk you but sexually harass you too. Good luck having a fire........the fire pit at our site was completely full. The only reason this campground is getting any good reviews is because of family and friends. The only reason I'm giving it 1 star is that's the only option I have. The way it used to be when John and new owned it was much better. It was clean and peaceful and overall the way camping should be. You camp to get away and enjoy some peace and quiet.....that will never happen here. Not as long as these current owners own it. Lakeview park in Balsam Lake only 15 minutes from camp wabojeeg is really the place to go. It's clean, organized, and the owners are truly amazing. They will go out of there way to make sure your stay is nothing less than amazing without bothering you to death!!!! I would like to respond to the owners accusations of us not paying our bill.......first off, our bill was paid in full. We have the receipts to prove that. As far as attacking you, that is not the intention here. We just want the public to know that this is a public campground. You can come and go as you please. You don't need to consult the owners to do so. When the owners come to your campsite ( constantly) and your not there and they go around the campground looking for you.....even in the bathrooms, that's just sick. It's even more disturbing that the male owner bothers you while your trying to take a shower by bringing you coffee. Nice gesture but not in the bathrooms.. that to me and most women is considered harrassment. And why is it when the proper authorities were called the male owners supposed name never came up on the computer? Seems strange to me. I have police reports to prove this.....they dont lie. And yes, your bathrooms are dirty, disgusting and without outlets. Read the other reviews........what improvements have been made really? Paint that just chips off?? Garbages that don't get emptied? And showers that don't get cleaned. Overall, ladies and gentlemen.......if you want to be verbally, and sexaully harrassed and have your privacy invaded.......this is the place to go. If that's not your thing, I would suggest going somewhere else.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time! It was a short 6 minute drive to taylor falls interstate park and a short walk to the river from the campsite. The spacing was perfect from each tent to tent and our overall expierence was fun.

The camp sites are practically right on top of each other, and or right flush to the road, so not to private. Also if your more family oriented, probably not the place for you...to much adult drunks stumbling around. At the end of our trip we wanted to use the waste station and there were two of the owners family parked in front of them, she proceeded to tell us that she was not going to have her guests move there vehicle's lol....ummmm what are we and didn't we just spend money here as well?? Way to much attitude that sealed the deal won't be staying or reccomending this place to anyone!

Spent a few weekday nights camping here. The male half of owners was very friendly and approachable. Only spoke to his wife by phone but she's also polite. Our campsite was easy to find and easy enough to back our pop-up into. Wasn't anyone too close by, but there's enough tree cover and distance that they're not going to pass the butter at breakfast. Getting in and out of camp was a breeze. We reserved online and charged the remaining balance to the card on file and away we went. We won't hesitate to stay here again.
