Camp Barcovan Tent & R.V. Resort

Spent last weekend, actually only Sat night at Camp Barcovan and had a great time. This was our first time camping there and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of activities for young and old. Rented one of their canoes and went for a nice paddle in the bay. The proprietors were more than welcoming and willing to please. This park is mostly seasonal campers, but our little tent trailer fit right in. Maybe this would be a good spot for us in the future when we get that bigger trailer and look for a seasonal site. Will definitely go back next summer.

My family just spent four days at this campground for the second year in a row. The owners bend over backwards to make your stay wonderful. They are great people. We tent camp and when there was a thunderstorm they offered us the rec hall to sleep in. The kids enjoyed the pool and bingo night. We will definitely be going back next year.

Not sure how the RV part of the park is but don't bother renting a bunkie. The one in the tent area is flooded and swarming with mosquitoes.The field one is just nasty dirty. It looked like they were using it as a doghouse it was so full of dog hair. It was tiny and extremely run down. There were old futons that are supposed to be the beds. Went and got my money back and went up the road to rent a decent place. The people in the office were nice though and didn't have a problem refunding my money.

A group of us stayed here this past weekend. Grounds are nice and clean, bathrooms are private and appealing. I did find the lots to be a wee small but we managed to make room. We will be coming back!

Really nice staff in a really great place. I recommend it 100 % . Good place to stay and having fun. Nice swimming-pool. We have been spoiled by the staff there and thank them for their attention, kindness and smiles.
