Ive been with Broadstreet here at camiel sys 4 years. We have been lucky and had great service. Tyler the maintenance technician is very professional and polite very friendly knowledgeable guy. Alvin at the office Property Manager has been very good to deal with, extremely compassionate and helpful. I recommend broadsteeet to anyone looking for a pet friendly community to live.
Very very rude, untrained customer service representatives who believes nothing can be done to them. They always want to deny their ineptitude. Zero courtesy. For the customer service reps to behave that way, I think it trickles down from their management who only cares about your monthly rent and after that, just get out. They don't care at all. You send out e-mail to them they would not respond to you and when you call they will be telling you, you should have followed up . Joke of a company. Not to talk of the high and outrageous Hydro bill during the cold season based on poor insulation and the refusal of them giving you, your meter readings when it is requested by Manitoba Hydro. I wouldn't recommend them for anyone, unless you are ready to keep quiet and take all their poor responses both on phone and in-person.
The townhomes are a wonderful size, enough space for our family of four. The sole reason I am giving such a poor review is having someone come to repair our A/C unit is worse than pulling teeth. Someone came out once and said it was fine, which is completely incorrect. We have it cooling to 68 and it won’t go lower than 73, if anything the temperature climbs. Because of this, the A/C is constantly running, and the unit often leaks, which is a safety hazard. We have resulted to taking measures such as keeping the blinds closed, closing certain vents to help push the air into the bedrooms, and fans constantly running but even that barely does anything. I called their 24-hour customer service last Saturday June 11th and was advised they would attend to our unit first thing on Monday morning. My husband was home all day. No one came. That following Tuesday June 14th we received a 24-hour entry notice that someone would be there on Friday June 17th between 9:00am and 4:00pm, so I made sure I was home. No one came. We have two small children, this is not okay. Upon reading further Google reviews it seems no other tenants are experiencing the same issues as we are, so their negligence to properly fix this issue is quite concerning. It seems our next step is having the A/C completely replaced with a properly, fully functioning one and billing Broadstreet for the repairs.
Disorganized. Made a viewing appointment for 10am and nobody showed up. I'll pass. I have the email confirming my appointment time was accurate and for the 12th.
We had to move quickly and Broadstreet Properties was able to accommodate us. Kay was very easy to work with and the service individuals were attentive and professional. We found the townhome safe, comfortable and the neighbors were friendly. We only stayed for 4 months but we are greatly appreciative for the Camiel Townhomes.
We've been here for a year and a half. I love it here. My neighbours are quiet, no one above us to stomp around 24/7, access straight into my kitchen from the garage is amazing. 2.5 baths, one of them an ensuite- ah-mazing. Walk in closet-super awesome. Half bath on main floor is super handy. No basements so laundry is on 2nd floor. True, hot water tank is small. Just gotta be careful not to do dishes, start the dishwasher then expect to go hop in the shower. Unless you're into cold showers. Having a little yard and patio is so nice. Some yards have more grass than others, that, you don't have to mow! You do have to shovel your own walk and driveway in the winter though. All in all, great, we love it here. The only downside-- PARKING. Which management refuses to do anything about. There's a dodge ram parked in front of our unit, been there probably 3 weeks now. Could be a ditched stolen car, who knows. People have to resort to parking on their lawn if they want to have a guest over. Or park over on Camiel Sys which can be a good trek to your unit depending which unit you have. Lots of tenants park on the little roads and keep their garages for storage and driveways empty. So, never anywhere for a guest to park. Have elderly people who visit you? Well, go pick them in your car from Camiel Sys. The little playground is pretty much never used. It's not maintained, and the grass area is 95.8% weeds. It's horrible to walk on. We came here from an apartment, I think I'd ball my eyes out if I had to go back to an apartment. I'd like to stay here for a few more years anyway, just wish there were places for our guests to park. Good thing we rarely entertain. I'd give it 5 stars except for the parking.
I've been a renter at the Camille Townhomes for over a year now, and I am very pleased with the space and staff. Since the staff changes over a year ago, I've notice a significant change in the administrative service. Kay has been nothing but accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. She's friendly, prompt, and helpful. We need more people like her in the service industry, and just in general! Keep up the great work!
poor insulation, some rooms to hot others freezing, floor in lower level is always so cold. Nowhere to park a third vehicle. Nice having in suite laundry and three bathrooms, but the hot water tank is small buy your own low flow shower head to get a 15 min shower without it your limited to 10 min or less!
When I called the 24/7 number, I got an extremely rude customer service rep. Makes me wish I never started dealing with Broadstreet in the first place. oh yes, and the parking is ridiculous. If you have 2 vehicles good luck finding a parking spot.
An absolutely fantastic townhouse complex that I would recommend to anyone!
